On Saturday..had a top notch deep tissue massage with the massage therapist Amber.....very professional establishment.....felt so invigorated...tension from lower back and neck....gone...therapist..very very sweet......highly recommended.......bottom line..best massage of my life =)).....very very accomodating ...plenty of places in nyc to get a massage..but only a dime a dozen where a establishment can back up their work.....Your company definatly backs up its theme of providing massage and other services to reinvigorate the mind, body and soul......thanks Amber
Pros: relaxing environment.....Amber-massage therapist
Cons: none none

My boyfriend has been pretty stressed out lately and since he's never had a massage, I thought it would be a great idea to get one together. Kneaded Bodyworks had great reviews, so I decided to give it a whirl. The massages were amazing. I had Gabe and my boyfriend had Celia. They definitely worked all of the knots out of my back. I usually leave a massage a little disappointed because they didn't work my back enough, but not this time. Before the massage they asked us questions about what bothers us, etc and they worked on those areas. We will definitely be going back there!

My boyfriend and I went here for a massage this past weekend for Valentine's Day. He is not too big on the day as a holiday but he knows it means a lot to me so he does all the right things. Our masseuses were attentive and pleasant and gave us what we both agree were the best massages of our lives. Having that experience made it all the more special. We never felt rushed even though the masseuse told us about all the couples that were coming for Valentine"s Day. Combining a great massage experience with the Valentine"s celebration was great. We will be back next year as a couple if not sooner separately.
Pros: nice people, great masseuses
Cons: Valentines Day only comes once a year

I am from Los Angeles and spent a get-away weekend with my husband in NY while my sister cared for our toddler. We were looking forward to a luxurious, relaxing weekend. The hotel where we were staying was remodeling their spa, so I looked to citysearch for a recommendation for a massage. The overwhelming winner was Kneaded Bodyworks. I made an appointment for 3:30. Around 2:00, I received a call from the office requesting that I change my appointment to 3:45 since they were very busy that day. Since we had a dinner reservation for 5:45 in Tribeca, I requested to keep the 3:30 and they said it was ok. I showed up 15 minutes early, which is typical practice, at least in L.A. I waited 45 minutes to be escorted into my treatment room. The staff was courteous and profuse in their apologies, but the seating was uncomfortable and there wasn't enough light to enjoy reading a magazine. I got a headache trying to read in the dark. They offered to discount the price by 50% which I accepted. The massage was good, but I didn't get a masseuse who could do an excellent scalp massage, which was what I had requested. The masseuse explained that they were very busy that day and since one client had been late, it put everyone else behind. I didn't understand why one client's tardiness should impact any other client, particularly those that arrived on time. Although I received a good massage, the experience could definitely have been better. Also, if the seating had been more comfortable and the lighting better, I probably wouldn't have been so irritated at the long wait. The discount made up for some of my annoyance, but I won't be returning.

I've been to Kneaded Bodyworks twice and I don't think I'll go anywhere else. The customer service is GREAT. My first appointment didn't start on time because my therapist was running late, I wasn't in a rush and was in a good mood that day so it didn't bother me, plus the owner kept in contact with me via cell to let me know how long my wait would be. I'm so glad that I waited because my therapist Amber gave me the MOST AMAZING session ever!!! Looks can definitely be deceiving- though small in stature, her pressure and skill can't be beat! My second session was also heaven. I love the ambiance and everyone seems so friendly. I love Amber and will only go to her...though I'm sure the other therapists are great. I'm currently in school for massage and hope that one day I can provide a service as skilled, relaxing, and client based as Amber has been able to provide me!
Pros: Amber!, beautiful room, customer service, hours, last minute scheduling
Cons: room was chilly, but I was given a nice warm blanket

I have been getting massage for 15 years now. And the one thing every place has in common is they think they are the best. And that seems such a simple view because everyone is different and likes different kinds of massage. My wife and I could not be more different. She wants a nice relaxing, other worldly, massage with that gift of touch. I want my butt kicked, deep tissue stuff. Incredibly, we both love Kneaded Bodyworks because we can each get the type of massage we want and both leave very satisfied with the overall experience there. And they always seem to be open. I don't know how but whenever I call whether early in the am or late in the pm they answer the phone and i get to schedule a session. and that is important as both my wife and I have crazy schedules. Bottom line, if you are looking for a place that can deliver the type of massage you request and can do every time Kneaded Bodyworks is your place.
Pros: they always seem to be open, they offer many types of massage
Cons: none

I have been searching for a place where I could always get a great massage. It is hard enough finding just one masseuse who is great and when you do find one they have to be available when you need. so, it is difficult to schedule sometimes. I was referred to Kneaded Bodyworks and was told that all the therapists are great. Well, I have been three times and each time I have had a different therapist and each time it was fantastic. And it is more than just the actual massage that makes the experience so wonderful. i feel very well treated from the initial phone call, to when I walk in and am greeted to when I leave. It takes an awful lot of effort I can imagine to pay so much attention to many different people but I applaud them for that effort and it is why I will never go anywhere else for massage in nyc. Great massage and I feel like queen for a day: Can't beat that! Do yourself a favor book today!!!
Pros: outstanding massage, felt well attended to, beautiful place
Cons: i dont have the time to get one everyday:)

I never expected to come out of a massage feeling as great as I did for the next few weeks. When I first went I was wound up and was tight all over from stress and working out too hard at the gym. Isabel was the therapist that was available at the time and quickly examined me and zeroed in on all the really bad and sore spots immediately. I was quickly immpressed. Right away I knew she knew what she was doing and never enjoyed a treatment that much before. She has a keen intuition and one of the best set of hands. If you go to kneaded bodyworks you must ask for her, cause not only does she know how to work but she is also able to put you at ease with her warming and soothing personality.
Pros: Isabels thumbs and hands

I have had many massages, and not just in NYC, but Seattle, LA, etc. and I now I have found the best. Matt was a very talented therapist who combines deep pressure, long strokes, and body manipulation (amazing work on the shoulders and arms). By breathing deeply and trusting him completely, I was able to get a total feeling of renewal after this massage. He really knows what he is doing. The next day I was not sore, and that is not usually the case with deep tissue work. I can't wait to go back! Thanks Matt.
Pros: Excellent therapist, nice ambience
Cons: None

I am a physician myself and was told by my doctor that I had a herniated disc in my neck. I was in quite a bit of pain. I was told that treatment ranged frommedical massage to surgery. Obviously the former is better. I was actually referred to Kneaded Bodyworks by my trainer. I went for a massage and have been going for two months now. The pain is gone and I am grateful. I am a believer and would recommend their services to anyone.
Pros: Relieved my pain
Cons: none come to mind
