THE WORST HAIRCUT!!!! RUN!!

Wow, I took my son for a hair cut today and couldn't believe at the poor quality of work that this place has to offer. My son's hair is a bit long and I didn't want to take him to a barber shop for a trim. The stylist completely butchered his hair. She didn't trim it like I asked her to, but instead cut off about 2 inches. The hair looks like a bob from the back and it is uneven all around. My son was practically in tears and so was I and she could honestly care less. Maybe she dismissed him because he is a teen, but a crappy hair cut IS a big deal when you're in junior high. Especially one that looks like a bob!! I have been here before out of convenience and the cuts were never great but OK. Today was truly unacceptable and I am so disgusted by their lack of empathy and professionalism.

Ellie's the best

I get my hair colored, cut and blown by Elli and he's very dependable! He does exactly as I ask him to do and I'm constantly getting compliments on my hair! Plus, compared to other salons, their prices are really reasonable. Definitely recommended!

The best

I like this place. I'm always getting my haircut and highlights there already for a 4 years. First time I went there to get an extension, after I trust my hair just Sam. Also they have a nice service and professional products as kerastas & aveda! Every year this place just getting beter and better! I strongly advise to try Ibiza Salon! You gonna like it!

Not bad

I am a very delicate flower when it comes to my hair...I have long, light brown mane, which, transformed by Sam, has earned me a constant flow of compliments by oh, so many!

Pro's: If what you want is great quality of service at reasonable price, you found yourself a great deal - great color, color glaze, highlights, color correction, cheapest keratin treatment in Manhattan! Recommended stylists are Sam (color, keratin treatment, or any revisions .. he'll fix it!), Marina (cut), Olga (cut).

Tip: Try to make appointments at "off-peak" times, as it tends to get overcrowded. To avoid any "confusions", make sure to get a quote prior to your treatment. (Although, this applies to all salons in New York. )

Con's:

Beware, if you looking for a spa-like, zen athmosphere - look elsewehere, as music and stylists here are always a tad too loud and hectic.

Overall, this is the first salon where I don't have to deal with egos of "wanna be's", still look amazing and save money! Go and try it!

• Pros: inexpensive, some (!) stylists are pure gems
• Cons: hectic, too loud and horrible music

do not get a men's hair cut here

For 27 dollars before tip they will do a terrible job for a man's hair cut. I had surfer hair going into the place. I told the guy, clean it up for me. What does the idiot do? He chops most of it off before I even have a chance to stop him. What does clean it up mean? Cut off two inches of hair? Worst part is he doesn't even clean up my ears. I had to do that at home. Terrible. Do not trust them. Tell them exactly what you want because they are idiots. Or rather, save your self some money and go someplace else.
