Great but very expensive Food.

I love organic, and always keep it healthy, but in order to do that in this place make sure to bring all of your credit cards because everything there is too freaking expensive. I have to agree with the previous person, their tuna is great, but be prepared to pay for it. I waited sometime before I was serviced, I also ordered fresh home fries, they forgot my order, and apologized, they offered them to me for free, I took it but had to wait nearly 40 minutes for them to be done, horrible service, but very tasty food. I got a drink, fries, tuna wrap, and the amount I spent there just for breakfast usually lasts me for the entire day, thats breakfast, lunch and some snack on my way home from work.

• Pros: Good Food
• Cons: Way too expensive, living on their food will get you broke

DELICIOUS and CHARMING!!

I LOVE this place...

Here are my favorites, you must try:

The Tuna is out of this world, I could try and explain it but you have to just eat it. I tried to recreate it, but it was nowhere near as tasty.

The sugar cookies are so frickin good I dont even know how they do it. They're moist!

The soup, omg. If you're sick, you need this. It's completely fresh and yummy.

The vegan burritos are so good! All vegan ingrediants, but it doesn't taste it at all, very filling for a small burrito.

The juices and smoothies are also excellent, and you can get the customized.

Whoever is cooking here needs an award. Healthy food that tastes better than non healthy food, believe it people.

The place itself is cozy and friendly, great customer service, also the staff is very knowledgeable if you need advice on skin care, or vitamins, etc. They're very helpful. They're very sanitary and fresh, hense the name. It can get busy at times, but there is a reason! Also there is a backyard seating area that is really trendy and cute! A nice way to enjoy great health food.

As far as merchandise goes, theres a large variety of brands and items here for a small market. It's not as cheap as Trader Joe's might be, but you're also paying for the convenience of it being right around the corner like any small corner store. Besides, healthfood aint cheap, that's just the bottom line.

In short, try it - you'll love it!

CHIC ATMOSPHERE AND TASTY FOOD

I WAS RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE BY THE REAL ESTATE AGENCY WHEN I MOVED IN THE AREA. AND, I MUST SAY I AM SO IMPRESSED BY THIS PLACE. DIDN'T EXPECT TO FIND A MARKET LIKE FRESH START IN ASTORIA, THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL. IT NICE THAT WE HAVE A BACKYARD TO ENJOY OUR FOOD

i recently visited the garden, which is very relaxing and enjoyed once again the food prepared by ellie and her crew, who are there everyday to help us start our day FRESH. . thumbs UP to fresh start!!!!!!!!! i really enjoy their juice bar.
