This Korean Body Scrub was out of this world! What a wonderful experience from head to toe! I'm hooked. Definately returning , "Judy" was fabulous. A bit more english speaking would have been nice though. My skin is the softest it has ever been and I feel great.
Pros: Wonderful service
Cons: my Technician did not speak a lot of english

My wife and I had a Valentine's Day couples massage and it was spectacular. I commented how my feet were hurting and they gave me 'cryotherapy' treatment and then moved on to straight up relaxing message, followed by some hot stone massage and shiatsu. I really enjoyed how the used a bunch of different techniques. Give them a chance.
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

I love this spa! It is quaint and cozy with a very friendly staff. I had a body scrub, facial, massage, manicure and pedicure when i went. I enjoyed every minute of it. The body scrub was the best part. Anyone who says they did not enjoy their time at TriBeCa Spa does not know what they are talking about. I am going back in two weeks for another body scrub. I recommend this Spa to everyone!
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

I booked a 90 minute massage at Tribeca Spa of Tranquility and I was not disappointed. The person who did my massage was friendly, professional and well trained. This is not a nail salon rub down; it is a true spa experience. Sometimes I get cold during massages and I was warm and comfortable the entire time. It was bliss. Unfortunately, at one point I could hear someone yelling on the phone, though it was brief and I don't suspect it happens often. Also, I didn't notice on my way down, but on my way back up I saw that one of their steam rooms had been closed by the (citysearch won't let me use the correct terminology, but it is an office of the city related to the healthy practices). I did use the steam room downstairs after my massage, and it seemed sanitary and was a great way to end my treatment. I was also able to sit on the sofa and enjoy a cup of tea before going back out into the world. When I got there they had booked me with a male masseur, which I don't mind, but if you do I recommend you specify when you're making the appointment.
Pros: professional massage in a relaxing environment

If you're looking for a great Spa in NYC... look no further. I don't know how they did it, but the owners of Tribeca Spa of Tranquility managed to create an oasis of relaxation in the heart of frenetic NYC. When you first walk in you are immediately taken out of the rustle and bustle of NY and transported to sensory excellence. The treatments are quite fabulous as well. I had the body scrub (which is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and I could not recommend it more!!!) and a facial. I’m still glowing from the whole thing. Thanks Tribeca Spa!

A group of friends and I went to the Tribeca Spa of Tranquility as a 30th birthday outing and we had SUCH a great time. It is a beautiful spa and lives up to it's name! It is tucked away and quiet and the environment is very peaceful. The staff couldn't have been better. We got the royal treatment from start to finish! My swedish massage was incredible, and I also had an aromatherapy pedicure which was one of the best I've ever gotten! The staff makes you feel right at home, and we wanted to stay all day...we spent an extra hour or so just hanging out in the comfie robes because we didn't want to leave. Thank you guys so much for making this a birthday party to remember. We'll all definitely be back.

Attended a birthday party at this spa - 5 girls, 2 body scrubs, 2 spa pedicures, 4 facials, and 2 massages later you had some VERY HAPPY ladies. Service was impeccable along with first rate treatments. Great for couples and parties as they have lots of joint rooms to enjoy your services.

This is the worst spa experience i have ever had. the receptionists are rude and disorganized (the brunette should be fired and the blonde is completely clueless). They rushed me in to my first procedure, was not shown a locker or changing facility, carrying my bags with me and when they screwed up my scheduled procedures (i was also supposed to have a facial) they were unapologetic and insincere. AVOID this place. Not worth a dime of your money OR your time and frustration.
Pros: NOTHING.
Cons: rude and disorganized staff

My wife and I went here for a couples massage, but I decided to get a bodyscrub instead at the last minute and do not regret it one bit. First off, the people are really really nice and we were made to feel very comfortable right away. They lead us into a small private dressing room and provided us with very comfy robes and sandles. Then they lead us into the sauna so that our pores would open up and then lead us into a scented steam room which really opened everything up. They then took my wife into her private massage room and then me into the wet massage room for my body scrub. They poured warm water all over me while the women went to town exfoliating my entire body. After about 40 min. she brought me back to the sauna to relax with some water and then brought me back again for a cucumber mask and rejuvenating, remoisturizing massage of some sort. Whatever it was, it was AWESOME!!! 90 Minutes later I didn't have the words to describe how good I felt...relaxed, clean, centered...i don't even know. I can't recommend enough giving this place a chance. Thanks Tribeca Spa of Tanquility!
Pros: Very Comfortable Environment
Cons: NONE

After hearing from a friend that this spot is a gem, and then seeing their write up in W magazine as one of the world's best spas, I had to check it out for myself - and I am thrilled that I did! This was by far the most amazing massage I have ever had (and I like my spa treatments). The whole experience was great - beginning with detoxifying tea, comfy robes, a nice sauna and steam, the massage, the attention to detail, and the skills. They used multiple styles of massage - shiatsu, hot stone, reflexology - and they all felt amazing. It is a warm place and everyone is attentive and excellent at what they do. If you need to treat yourself or a loved one to something nice -- make reservations at the Tribeca Spa of Tranquility, you will be delighted.
Pros: Superb Spa Treatments, Excellent Service, Relaxing Ambience
