After switching from salon to salon, it is a welcome treat to find someone who can consistently cut my hair that does not require a lot of styling, products or effort on my part. Mar really knows her stuff, and if you let her do her thing, she will advise and listen to what you want (or need), and you will walk out of there with effortless hair. I think a good haircut doesn't require a lot of product, and I know she thinks the same. Call her today!

Pros: great location, unpretensious, great prices for amazing work.

i have to say I just had the best experience in headroom. I just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a salon that knew what they are doing. I am in the beauty industry and have dealt with all sort of salon and most of the time not pleasent experinces..but let me tell you i was so happy after i left headroom. I got amazing highlights done by alesha..she deffiantly knows color and then she placed me in the hands of mar, who gave me an amazing haircut...They were a great team. I had such an enjoyable time and i cant wait to go back...

Headroom really took care of me. When I first called to make an appointment, I wasn't able to get there during their regular business hours. So I made an appointment anyway hoping that I could get away with taking an extra long lunch. But a few hours after I hung up the phone, my stylist called me to tell me that she would stay open late for me! I don't know if they do that all the time, or if I just caught her on a really good day. But whatever the case may be, I really appreciated her doing that. And even during the late appointment, the other stylists hung out after their clients left to sip sake and chat with us while I got me hair cut! I was afraid that I might feel bad about having her stay late, but I think it was fun for everybody. They really are a great bunch of people!

I ADMIT IT, I CANT DEAL WITH CHANGE. IT'S TAKEN ME YEARS TO MUSTER THE COURAGE TO CHANGE FROM BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS TO A DARKER SHADE OF BROWN. BUT AFTER MY CONSULTATION WITH ALICIA, I KNEW I WAS IN GOOD HANDS. SHE TALKED ME THROUGH THE WHOLE SERVICE. EVERYTIME SHE TOUCHED MY HAIR SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTING TO ME. IT WAS SO COMFORTING THAT SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND THE RESULTS PROVE IT. I WAS ALSO IMPRESSED BY HER BLOWDRY SKILLS. IT TAKES MUSCLES TO SMOOTH OUT MY FRIZZ. AFTER THE BLOWOUT, SHE TOOK MY OUTSIDE INTO THE SUN TO TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT THE COLOR. THAT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME TO SEE THE COLOR IN ALL LIGHTS. IN MY EXPERIENCE, NOT ONE COLORIST HAS EVER DONE THAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYODY AND EVERYBODY. SHE TRULY IS TALENTED AND UNDERSTANDING.

Finally a friendly cool but unpretentious salon in soho. Excited to see some thing cool on my block, i ventured in and was surrounded by amazing stripes! They were friendly and courteous, something that seems to have gotten lost at most places. I even got ot meet the designers. 'Ariel' refreshed my old look and gave it a twist. Very happy wirth results, hope they do a good job again next time i visit. i hope this place stays

After trying out multiple salons uptown, downtown, and everywhere inbetween, I stumbled upon Headroom and can say with confidence I will never look back! Alesha did my color and I love it! I'm a fake blonde and came in with majorly damaged hair in need of a color-correction overhaul. A few hours later my color was restored to a beautiful shade of blonde and feeling 100x healthier! The vibe was very chill, no attitudes, great music and reasonable prices. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

i just recieved the best scalp massage in my life. (okay, i've not had many, but wow!) the girl who cut my hair so sweet, she took her time & made me laugh the whole while i sat in her chair. the cut was good and i'm happy and i'll looking forward to the next time i get my hair cut from her again. i definately recommend the salon to get your hair cut. it's a good thing i live in the neighborhood because she give me discount because they give a deal to people that live in the aerea. i usually do not spend this much for a haircut, but i was desparate and she gave me a discount, but i think it is worth every penny ($45 after discount, before tax and tip). it's very convenient for my because i walk my dog and i leave my dog outside and i can see him in the window when i get my hair cut. i will tell everybody how wonderful my haircut is! i forgot the girl's name, i think she is the manager or owner. i will be back.

Pros: good haircut, nice staff

This Salon is simply the best.......the stylist were trendy and knew of upto date hair styles. My haircut came out better then expected, seeing as everywhere else I went always messed up. My hair was beautifully blown out and ends cut pefectly. I loved it and would definately recommend others to walk in................TWO HUGE THUMBS UP!

Finally, a stylist that listens. I walked out with exactly what I asked for. Just the perfect haircut experience. I could not have asked for anything more. Just pure goodness.
