I started with Temp Excellence a few months ago. They placed me at MTV in Dec and I am now full time staff with benefits!!! I cannot thank them enough. I love my job and owe it all to them. They were always so helpful and accommodating to my schedule. They are very professional but also personable. I cannot thank them enough for this opportunity. I highly recommend them.

Pros: Professional, Personable, Variety of assignments

Temporary Excellence is a small agency but they have big contacts. I really admire all of Temporary Excellence recuiters such as Kevin and Jewel. They gave me a position at Columbia Presybertarian Hospital. Highly Recommended.

I highly recommend Temporary Excellence to anyone looking for work! After searching for temp work awhile ago, I found that they were unique in that they treated me like the capable college educated person that I am rather than just a number. Their staff is extremely helpful at placing you in a variety of positions. In the 5 months that I worked with them (before finding myself a permanent job), there was rarely an occasion when they couldn't fill my calendar with work-- mostly assisting executives in interesting departments at MTV in Times Square. Highly recommended!

Good people, good jobs. I have been to many agencies and TEI gave me the best vibe. They worked with me and I have a pretty good assignment now. I am excited to see where it leads. If you are looking for great advice, attention, and results, give them a shot.

Pros: straight talk

Cons: can't sleep late any more on weekdays

Just saying thanks to a great group of folks who helped me out BIG TIME. Lets just say that within a week or two of my interview, I had a super job and I am now in the process of being hired perm. People don't realize that when you temp, it's your foot in the door at a lot of great places, minus the competition of applying online with thousands of others. Temp Excellence is a little different than many places. The are a bit more real, more thorough, dare I say honest. Don't make the mistake of thinking, you got your bachelors, you're too good to temp. Trust me, after a lot of tries on my own, they really helped.

Pros: fast, friendly

Cons: busy, slightly loud office setting

Ok- -so I have been around the block with agencies. After college, I took some time to pursue creative interests. I'd been jerked around by a lot of places, til I finally found TempEx on the net. They placed me during some tough times, and never pressured me into stuff like some places tend to. They are honest. They'll tell you if the job flow is slow-and they don't do the typical razzle dazzle. It's obvious they respect you if you show them the same professionalism. And when I decided it was time to find something full time, the folks there snapped right into action and shopped my resume around. I am on a really great temp to perm where I am actually treated like a full fledged staff member, and I just wanted to take a minute to share my experience so that others know where to go for a good experience like mine.

Pros: honest

Cons: noisy office -- but it's cuz they book a lot of people !

I recently quit my job and was frustrated with the idea of going through the whole process of finding a new one. So I decided to try temping. With temping I could experience different industries without the long term commitment. I have been working with Temp Excellence for the past month and a half. I have had an assignment the whole time. I love my assignments and am now ready for them to send me out on a temp to perm assignment. The are all so nice and helpful in the office. I have been working mainly with Samantha and Peter and they always find an assignment for me that they know I will enjoy and get back to me right away when I have any questions or concerns. I have been really happy working with them and have recommended them to anyone going through the process of finding employment. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Pros: Plenty of Jobs, Great Staff

Temporary Excellence is an excellent temp agency (pun not intended). I have dealt with a few other agencies in New York and none can rival TE's services: TE consistently provided me with challenging, substantive assignments at quality companies with great reputations. I had hardly any lapse between assignments and TE's staff (particular Samantha) valued my abilities and always treated me with professionalism and respect. I highly recommend Temporary Excellence.

Pros: Courteous, helpful, skilled staff

This is a great place. Temp excellence gave me very good on the job support once I was sent out, they even helped me through a tough time while on my temp job. At one point, I was fed up with the assignment because of some bad feelings between me and a perm person at my job. They counseled me and helped me weigh the pros and cons, but also told me they'd support me if I wanted to move on. This type of customer service is hard to find since most agencies are really interested in keeping you ON the job regardless of if you're miserable (since that's how they make money). I've been pressured by other agencies so their approach to my dilemma was really refreshing. In the end, the situation corrected itself and I am glad I stuck it out especially because I've now received a perm offer. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am thankful that they handle people the way they do. This is the best way I could think of to thank them for their professionalism!

Pros: real human beings!
