“i was concerned - but they were EXCELLENT”

I rented a van 2 weeks ago to go to a birthday party in Philadelphia. we had 9 adults, i was concerned about this company, but they were EXCELLENT. low rate, and brand new 2011 luxury van with WiFi and TV. Sweet sweet deals at this car and van rental company 5+ stars

Conversion Van Rental

We rented a 9 passenger explorer conversion van from image for the weekend of November 11th to November 15th for our Washington DC trip.

The 2011 black luxury van was awesome as it it was equipped with WiFi, TV/DVD Captain chairs, reclining bed and much more.

Professionalism & Helpfulness Made our Trip a success

Recently we took 34 students and teachers on a trip back East from the West Coast to study Early American History.

I want to specifically thank Jose at the Image Rent a Car center in Newark, New Jersey and in New York City.

His professionalism and helpfulness not only made our trip a success, but a very enjoyable one.

He was thorough with the seats properly fastened in the vans, as well as the making sure all the seat belts were working.

Thank you again.

METNY GU19 SQUAD BATTLE THEIR WAY TO THE NRU CUP FINALS

July 13, 2010, Rutland VT – The Metropolitan New York Rugby Union Girls Under 19 team just returned from a successful competition in Vermont.

After two tryouts and a scrimmage covering two states and the far reaches of the union, a roster of 20 was selected to represent the METNY at the NRU Cup from a 42 deep player pool.

The NRU Cup is a vehicle for high performance player identification for the NRU GU18 and GU20 developmental squads, which then in turn goes on to compete nationally, giving the athletes an opportunity to possibly make the USA Junior Eagles team. Other teams represent New England RFU, New York State RFU and the Capital District at the competition.

Overcast skies and rain could not detract from the beauty of the very green pitch that was provided by the Rutland Rugby Club and was nestled in a grove of tall trees and surrounded on all sides by pictorial Vermont mountains.

First up for the METNY side was the heavily favored and long-time champion select side from New England. Both teams were very evenly matched, but it was the hard running of inside center, and a “Player of the Match”, Emily Laura which broke the game wide open with her strong running which eventually wore down the New England defense. Captain Rozi Martinez and wing JJ Reyes also made deep runs into New England territory. Although METNY had a 4-3 try advantage with almost no time left, New England was able to capitalize on a penalty right in front of the post to send the game into overtime tied 22-22. In overtime, METNY regrouped and was able to score twice to win 32-22 and earn a berth in the Championship match. The other player of the Saturday match was Lexi Garcia.

Saturday’s extra time showed on Sunday as New York State was able to wear down the METNY players with hard runs and the foot of METNY’s own Katherine Foran (Stony Brook University) who played flyhalf for her indigenous side. Foran’s foot was aptly countered by the heads up play of METNY flyhalf Kaylen Santiago and Fullback Tina Miller. Led by Captains Lexi Garcia and Rozi Martinez who both made hard tackles and bruising runs, METNY dominated the rucks and other set pieces, but was unable to capitalize when they were able to break through the upstate team’s gainline. New York State was more fortunate on their runs, and was able to score on several line breaks. Strong forward play was demonstrated for a second day by BeBe Cammock, Corinne Heavner and Amanda Hearth. In a match much more even than the final score indicated, New York State scored late and prevailed with a final score of 22-0. Players of the match were Tina Miller and Jane Braun.

The METNY squad now looks forward to entering both upcoming 7s and 15s tournaments this summer. The side is coached by Molly Dengler, Ali Nazir and Gary Lee Heavner

I was planning a trip for my students to go see the Statue of Liberty. Since it was going to be a class trip, I had a couple of parents going to make my life easier and to help keep track of the kids.

We are from PA. So that meant we needed accommodation for our trip. This meant determining what was available to us and the feasibility of it. We could either rent a school bus, a van, or drive private cars. The next decision now was which was the best so we started to do a comparison.

Being a School teacher my first thought was a School bus. Problem is we only have 12 kids that were going and it seemed silly to use a school bus even with a couple of adults coming along. Not only that the rental of a School bus is not cheap. The next thing we took a look at was the rental vans.

First thought was that the kids and the adults just didn’t want to be crammed into a van and not be able to move. Just to be sure, though I checked out the rental vans that were available.

To begin with there was a full size van available at a very reasonable price. Not only that I had the choice of a 12-15 seat van. I figured though that this one would cost me a fortune and certainly would be out of the school budget.

I was amazed at the price and it turned out it would be cheaper than the school bus or even going by individual cars.

Then the next thing that impressed me was the Chevy passenger van rental was spacious.

There would be no issues with getting 15 people into this van along with their luggage and have them travel in comfort.

Even before looking over the feasibility of using individual vehicles, I knew the Chevy passenger van rental was the only answer to a great trip.

Although the students were looking at me like I was just being a penny pincher that soon changed once they piled into the full size van.

With the money, we saved on transportation we figured we could afford to rent a hotel and stay overnight and do some sight seeing the next day before we headed back. There was only one problem.

The kids didn’t want to walk any where; they wanted to utilize the rental van wherever we went.

Travel is always a big issue no matter what the distance or number of people. Most teachers dread traveling with a group of students. In this case though it was one of the most pleasurable trips I have had with a group of students. Needless to say, all future student-teacher trips will be by Chevy passenger van rental from IMAGE. At least if I’m the teacher arranging it.

For a while now ( over 5 years ) we rent our group transportation from image for our Atlantic City, Great Adventure, Philadelphia, Montreal and Washington DC trips.

The staff are professional and very helpful all around, the selection is unique and the prices are wonderful.

We normally rent the 15 person vans but for our Easter vacation we rented a 9 passenger high top conversion vans with all the whistles and bells.

Great Service!

I rented a 15 passenger luxury van for one weekend! I took the van to Niagra Falls; it was an excellent ride. The van was very reliable and the rental fee was very fair. The rental agents were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them! I definitely will be using this company AGAIN!

The service has been great
