Great! Even on a Holiday

I thought I was the only one that didn't go away for the 4th of July weekend; but I was sooo wrong. When I walked into Ultra Friday night, I definitely was not the only one that hadn't gone away. The crowd was great! When we first got there, we were a little down for not being able to go away for the holiday, but that quickly turned around as soon as we walked inside.. The music kept us dancing all night... It was really an amazing time. Can't wait for next week!

Best friday night

I was there this past Friday and i had a blast. The crowd was great, everyone was going crazy over the DJ, the girls in my group were all dancing on the couches because the music was so good and the drinks were reasonably priced. I thought it would be almost dead because of the holiday weekend but even on a 4th of July Friday it was packed. I definitely recommend the place for anyone looking for an awesome Friday night.

ROCK IT ULTRA

I've been to Ultra about 10 times already. Whenever a friend of mine wants to have a birthday, I suggest Ultra. The staff already knows my face, and they always treat me like a top VIP. If anyone needs a BDAY party, i would suggest going to Ultra. I'm sure i'll be there!

• Cons: mucis was a little loud, Manhattan prices

Worst club in NYC

I will never go back to Ultra. The club staff are all incompetent. We got there at 12:15. We were told that girls were free all night, only to find out this was not true. So we don't go in for free (not a big deal), then they say we are not letting anyone in unless you buy a bottle (their ploy to trick you into buying a bottle). Within 15 minutes the club empties (3 groups of about 10 people leave). So we get off the line and go talk to our friend in the smoking area. After announcing we are leaving, the bouncer (who stated only bottle service) said we should get back on line if we want to go in. I've been to many clubs, but this is one of the worst. It is small, with really bad music accompanied by incompetent staff. (The only reason they let us in was because everyone left, and lets be frank, you only LEAVE a club at 12:15 if the club is horrible)

Love Ultra

I went to Ultra 2 weeks ago and I really loved it. I loved the music, the ppl and the location and had a really great night with my friends.

We got in with Marion (917 557 5787) and we didn't have to wait in line or pay cover charge. So thank you ;)

Can't wait to go there again!

Fabulous

I had the longest week of my life at work...so I rounded up all of my girls last night to go out. Believe me when I say i NEEDED to have a good time last night. Now...I am a girl who is not easily pleased...and still I have to say Ultra is fabulous! I bought a table and was treated like a princess all night! GO...you will probably see me there! Awsome music by the way...

Amazing Birthday Experience!!

I had my 28th birthday here and it was great. The venue was recommended to me by a friend who had bought one of the larger packages ( i think the platinum package) and did nothing but rave about the place. I then check reviews online and was sold. I got the gold package with 2 bottles of vodka, champagne and food. The food was awesome finger foods, we chose the mini burgers and pizza bites. The place was packed with a great crowd and the DJ rocked it all night long. I think that night they had DJ 3Sixty spin. He first started the night off with a mix of breaks and funk and then went into a well mixed set of club hip hop and then some house. The whole club was going nuts. Everyone from the person i took my reservation with to the security and wait staff were very helpful and friendly, none of that arrogant superclub mentality here. I would definitely recommend Ultra for anyone looking to have a memorable birthday experience.

Don't wait in line at Ultra anymore

Ultra is a great club with a very tough door policy... if you don't get in with a promoter, you will have to pay the 25 dollars cover charge. If you meet Marion and Vero at 11.30 sharp you can avoid to pay the cover . They will walk you in vip/no cover. You can text Marion at 917 557 5787 to rsvp.

Think twice before making a deposit for a table

Reserved a table for Sat nite for a friend's birthday party. Had a good time until the bill came. We had made a $300 advance deposit with the manager but the bill didn't account for that and it was listing the entire table rate! We were outraged so we complained to the waitress who seemed less than eager to help us out. Then we were taken to a staircase while they were sorting out the issue. No idea why they didn't account for the deposit. Maybe a miscommunication amongst the staff, I don't know. But overall the experience wasn't pleasant and we were made to look like liars about the deposit (i.e. they kept denying they took a deposit.) At the end of it all they offered a free bottle as an apology but by then we just had enough of the arrogant staff there so we denied their gesture and left. I doubt this is the first time they "inadvertently" missed a deposit so please think twice before giving them any money in advance. The birthday party would otherwise have been fun. The place is nice, music is great, and table service is excellent. It gets extremely crowded, though.
