Great BBQ

Worst Cashier maybe but worst bbq ever is very far away, I am a regular costumer, and for a very long time Joeys doesn't have female cashier first of all.

When it comes to food, of course good bbq shouldn't have drenched in to bbq sauce, that way you can smell and taste the meat itself not the bbq sauce. Their meat chicken, pork or brisket has this hickory smoke and tenderness, I haven't found anywhere else. Their Ribs and Wings are out of this world, If you haven't tried yet, you don't know what you missing

• Pros: Awesome food, hickory smoked slow cooked very tender
• Cons: No beer, no alcohol licence

Worst BBQ EVER

The person taking my order had no idea what was going on and I could not have been more clear on the phone. I would have turned an eye to this, however, she quoted a total that was completely incorrect. We picked up our order and brought it home only to find out that our "pulled pork" was literally huge chunks of pork - which is fine, but it had absolutely no flavor and no BBQ sauce. To add insult to injury it was SO dry and actually dangerous to chew/swallow. I called to enquire whether the pulled pork combo always came like this (devoid of sauce and flavor) to which the woman answered "sometimes". I am by no means a food snob but this place was horrible. They were nice enought to send over another order of the pulled pork - this time just as dry and in a hamburger BUN. They might want to take Mr. Wraps recipe - they seem to have mastered the pulled pork arena. VERY disappointed customer.

Southern Style Pork BBQ

the secret to great BBQ is Great Slow Smoked Meats (missing from most NYC BBQ), wonderful beans and potato salad and a good original sauce. Plus great grilled veggies. A Master BBQ place in downtown Hoboken, NJ? Who would have thought!!!!

• Pros: Great Food
• Cons: You can eat in, there are a few bar stools and a counter, but this is basically a take out or delivery place.
