Got Milk?

The ice cream is good, the coffee great and the milk is better. However, I experienced too much discourteous service for a milk bar for @#$%'s Sake. In any case, I'm going back again, since Chelsea Market is a mecca of wonderful foods, and I must try the other wonderful dairy products they offer.

Folks have long been crowing about this upstate dairy's milk and ice cream, and now it finally has digs as cool as its frosty treats. Glass windows allow Chelsea Market passersby a peek inside a modern malt shop with circular counter seating and stacks of vintage milk crates that call to mind the ending of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." In addition to scoops of ice cream flavors like ginger creme brulee, lunch chow reflects an environmentally-friendly outlook with ingredients like bulgar salad and free-range chicken sandwiches.
