We were looking to save a couple bucks by buying from online dealers, but for one reason or another, it never panned out (i.e. color we chose - after we paid - became out of stock). So we decided to give Budget Blinds a try. Eric Griffith heads the company, and came to our house with samples, plus brought pictures on his digital camera of actual Brooklyn apartments in which their blinds were installed. Eric was great - so personable, and honest - he was extremely forthcoming about prices and rates; also was great about tailoring the blind selection to our budget. And if you ask him for his opinion on aesthetics, he'll be straight with you. Great customer service. And the stellar customer service extended to his installers, Luis and Miguel - they were extremely (and surprisingly) professional and polite, efficient, and did a great job installing our blinds (installation is included in the price). We could have easily kept shopping online and saved a couple hundred here or there, but not having to deal with the hassle of installation, having the pro's do it in a fraction of the time it would have taken us, it was well worth the extra money. Plus, just to have amazing customer service in a city where it is lacking is totally refreshing. We have already recommended the company to friends that live in the building - and will gladly recommend Budget Blinds to anyone else. We're also REALLY happy with the blinds as well!
Pros: STELLAR customer service, good quality blinds
Cons: Slightly more expensive than what you'll find online
