This was an amazing experience that I was very intimidated by. Bella was amazing and I think new to the team. One of the first things out of her mouth was I love my job. She spent time talking to me and asking about my over all well being before beginning. I came in after finishing a juice fast in preparation and was very emotional. The environment is supportive and calming. Extremely clean and sanitary. I was guided through breathing and gentle care the entire time. It was at time painful due to healthy release cramping, but the support made me realize that it was a much needed physically and emotionally. I was encouraged to cry if need be and to communicate anything I needed to. I am rejuvenated. I also happen to be an Acupuncture student and understand the importance of client bed-side manner. This was superb. Thank you so much.
Pros: Ambience, Bella, Cleanliness

Nacim, my hydrocolonic therapist, was super. She has 25 years' experience and went beyond the normal colonic through massage and prompting me with breathing techniques. Without too much information here, I am a normal weight with 2-3 bowel movements a day and she really got alot out. I had 2 colonics at an upstate NY health spa almost 3 years ago so have some basis for comparison. This is a gem of a place in a great neighborhood!
Pros: real pros, excellent sanitation
Cons: removing your shoes before you enter the reception area shouldn't be mandatory

SanaVita is a place for health and well being. It is clean and calm. Its therapists and healers share a commitment to the health and comfort of their clients. I highly recommend SanaVita. My experiences there have been fantastic. I always feel comfortable and safe while in treatment. And everytime I have been to SanaVita, I leave with a smile on my face.

From the beginning, my extreme inquiries were warmly received and put at ease when I initially called Sanavita. I spoke with Arul, who also became my hydrotherapist. My session was amazingly relaxing and I felt truly comfortable throughout it. Arul continued to answer any questions that came to me during and even after my first session. I have continued to see Arul regularly, as I feel my health growing stronger and my overall sense of wellness blossoming. Thank you for being here Sanavita, and thank you deeply Arul.

I gratefully have had all my colonics at Sanavita! The therapists there really care and make sure that you are relaxed. They have gentle touches and make you feel that you are in good hands. I highly recommend Sanavita!

wow. is all i can say. i feel so good after my colonic. it was a spur of the moment decision and it was my first one and Arul, who is the owner, was so kind and knowledgable. it was really sweet. she had her baby with her but gave him to her husband for the hour so that she could treat me. and the center is so amazing. so beautiful inside. and i never knew it was there, right on 16th st. i walked by and they took me right on the spot. i hadn't really prepared but it didn't seem to matter. Arul was wonderful, massaging my abdomen while i released. i can't recommend it highly enough! thank you!
Pros: amazing energy and beautiful space
Cons: i never knew about it before!

To begin with the receptionist was extremeley rude over the phone; I later figured she was the owner, can't believe someone can treat their own business, own clientelle this way! I had to ask her to remove her baby away from the phone who was screaming into my ear, really crying and screaming baby. She still tried to hear me and got upset when I said, "I can't hear you , do you want me to call you later?" She wasn't happy about this request, she unkindly made an appointment. It was really weird...I so should have changed my mind then and not have gone there... Also I asked her if I had to follow any diet prior to coming in. She said "no you are ok, you can come in today, just stop eating 2 hours before your appointment" and she made the appointment. I went in to the appointment and her attitude really sucked. The therapist wasn't that professional either and since nothing really came out during the colonics, the therapist told me it was the wine and carbs that I had in the last week, and that I should have not had wine one night before. Her tone was very stern and aggressive, the kind of tone you don't want to hear from someone who is controlling the tube inserted to your behind. Also the tube came out once and I felt like I was not in good hands at all..This was my first colonic, how am I supposed to know how to prepare, and even when I asked they didn't bother to tell me... I would never go back there... It was really bad!

we feel so lucky. and we're so happy and proud of our holistic cleansing center. it comes with a lot of hard work and a lot of intention to manifest a sacred space in the heart of manhattan. we hope you'll find the cleansing and healing you need here. with love. my wife Arul and I opened sanavita officially on Oct 18, with a grand opening gathering. and just so you all know, we met each other on a 5-day guided fast, with an intention to each find our true love and our true calling... and from that we quickly made a beautiful life together, which is still growing and evolving, but has become grounded in the space that we're calling sanavita. sanavita, means healthy life in latin. and it's the kind of life that we want and want to share in the world. a health of boundless, vibrant, abundant, ecstatic, vulnerable, open life.
Pros: sacred space
Cons: working long days, I miss seeing my daughter
