Our lock was not working and we couldn't open our door. The guy from this locksmith company dashes over in 30 minutes and with a bit of time and effort, did a door repair, with a new lock and a better one (high security as opposed to a deadbolt). He was professional, courteous, and the fee was very reasonably priced, especially considering it was an emergency service call. We were really pleased and would definitely use him again in the future

The customer service this locksmith had was amazing, I wish it was like that everywhere. they really showed that they cared and were willing to help me and give me the best service. Super friendly and patient with me, walked through the whole process with me and communicated with me what was going to be done and the pricing, before anything was even started. It was great! Nice people and company to work with if your looking for a locksmith!

can not say enough positive things about This locksmith company. My girlfriend and I went to them based on the internet - and they were wonderful. The service was very responsive, patient and fair . If you have find yourself locked out of house, give them a call, they are open 24 hours, we even got a real customer service person at 1 in the morning!!

It was a wintery Friday night and I got home late to discove

It was a wintery Friday night and I got home late to discover that my house had been broken into by my ex boyfriend who still had a key. I called the police and then called them because I had heard that the operate as a emergency locksmith. These guys came out straight away and did a lock re key for me. I was really surprised at the good price because it was late at night and it was an emergency locksmith service after all. I would definitely call them if I ever need emergency locksmith services again.

i went in there today intending to have two doors installed and to buy two medeco systems and the guy behind the counter ignored me -- there was no one else in the store. after 5 minutes, he says "what?"

will take my business where they want it.

TOTAL RIP-OFF THE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH

I have never left a bad review in my life until now but I feel obligated to let people know what a terrible experience i have had with Metropolitan Locksmith on 7th Ave.

I was quoted $200 in an urgent situation which suddenly turned into $587.92 because "they didn't realize how complex the problem" was once they and i need to get into my apt.

Three months later the $587.92 lock i installed broke and when i called them to fix it they said it was out of warranty (by just 5 days) and i would need to pay an additional $150 now to have it fixed.

Metropolitan Locksmith is the most untrustworthy and unsavory locksmith company i have ever dealt with.

Use anyone else but them!
