Better than pinkberry
by cc938 at Citysearch
I have tasted both Pinkberry and Red Mango. I did some research and here's what I found out. Red Mango isn't as known as Pinkberry is currently however, Red Mango has been around since more than 6 years ago. Pinkberry seems to attract youths with their nice decor however you can taste the difference once you try Red Mango. Pinkberry tastes like theres too much water in it than yogurt. Red Mango is richer and has more live and active cultures than Pinkberry. It also uses all natural ingredients. Just try it for yourself. You'll see what I'm talking about.
- Pros: Rich flavor, all natural
- Cons: none
Familiar fro-yo formula at coffeehouse-style chain.

In Short
It takes cojones to take on Pinkberry, but that's just what this Korean chain has done, meaning you can now get your nonfat fro-yo fix on the south side of Bleecker, too. Topping options for the regular or green tea soft-serve include anything from berries to Lucky Charms to mochi (sweet dumpling dough). At this loungey, coffeehouse-like branch, 90 calories per serving draws a cross-culture of culture-lovers, from the stroller set to erstwhile beatniks.
