User Reviews for Kuta Satay House

I took my boyfriend to Kuta and we weere a bit disappointed. We love satays and ordered a variety of them. The satays were on the expensive side and did not have alot of flavor. We thought the service was a little slow and the entrees were nothing special.

I went to this place for the first time recommended by some friends. It was excellent. I used to live in Asia so can be very critical of asian food but this was excellent. The atmosphere was great as well - very relaxed. Definitely recommend this to people looking for an unpretentious place with very tasty and interseting food.

My comments are directed at the buzz-kill loser who should get a life and try going to Kuta (I have; a few times) and then he/she will understand all the 5 star reviews ;-) And maybe even make a friend or two. Negativity makes my smile frown.

Pros: A little gem in a sea of cookie-cutter mediocracy.

Cons: Word is not spreading fast enough.

5 stars ? are you kidding? I wonder how many of these reviews are written by friends and family? What a joke Citysearch is.

Cons: not authentic

I have been to Kuta House several times and the food, service and atmosphere keep getting better. I would highly recommend this place especially for the satay....yummy!

a buddy of mine dragged me to this little place that served food that I wasn't familiar to. It turned out to be one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. I highly recommend it to anyone that is tired of regular Asian food. Great food and cozy atmosphere, ideal place for a romantic date.

Pros: not tooo many people knows about this place yet

Cons: they will know eventually

If you're looking for a nice, small place to eat great food without any attitude, Kuta is a good choice. We went as a group of 4 on a Tuesday night, so we got right in. Service was excellent - we found out at the end of our meal that our "waiter" was also one of the owners and a former chef from Rain! He did a superb job of recommending items after we told him our various likes (seafood, meat, not too spicy, etc.). Very reasonably priced, which is also a plus! We'll definitely go back.

Pros: great food and service, intimate

Cons: small if you're a big group

We ate at Kutu Satay our last trip to NYC which was recommended from a good friend, and the food was awesome!!! The service was excellent! The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, the perfect place to meet up with friends, or to go out on a first date! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I are particularly finicky with Asian food but went on a recommendation from a friend. He was right on about the food!! It was a great cozy place to eat and dinner was phenomenal. The waitress suggested the duck salad as a starter and it was unbelievably delicious. I highly recommend it. We had also had the bass and drunken noodles which was both just as good. We sampled a variety of their x-tinis drinks which were good as well. I would definitely eat there again and highly recommend the place.

I've eaten at Kuta House twice and have nothing but praise for the staff, food, and atmosphere. I had heard about it through a friend who had a great experience there. Check it out.
