Bond Street in Noho is one of the city's most adventurous blocks in terms of architecture, so it's no surprise that Oak found a home here. Inside, avant-garde clothing for men and women shares space with a store-length geodesic sculpture. What makes Oak's two Brooklyn stores so successful is their ability to create a space-age hipster look that's also wearable, and the Manhattan location (by far the biggest of the three) achieves this with labels like Opening Ceremony, Daryl K, Henrik Vibskov, Hyden Yoo and more.

Hits: This might be the best place in New York to find that ultra-hip, creative-type look.

Misses: The Manhattan location doesn't really take a different direction from the Williamsburg one, meaning it's basically the same store but bigger.
