Forget diamonds---this Lower East Side vintage boutique thinks shoes are a girl's best friend.

Sisters Zia and Dana Ziprin had a lot of shoes; so many, in fact, that they had to separate their boutique from their rental archive (just around the corner on Hester Street). They now have space to display and sell about 300 pairs, dating from the 1930s to the 1990s, which hang from racks around this cluttered, unpretentious store. Tall, slouchy boots, flats, peep-toe pumps, sling backs and much more bear haute names like Charles Jourdan, Yves Saint Laurent and Stuart Weitzman.

Hits: It doesn't get much better than beautiful designer shoes in vintage styles, all sold at low prices.

Misses: Those looking for an elegant boutique complete with expensive decor and hip ambience might be disappointed.
