I love wine, and during a recent trip to NYC, friends suggested that I visit the Bowery Wine Company. It was an amazing experience, start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The bar has an upscale, cozy feel to it, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food and the drinks were terrific. Great live music too! A "must visit" during any trip to NYC!
- Pros: Ambiance, Service, Wine, Food, Music
Great place, great food, awesome prices!

I have been to the BWC many times now and each time has been awesome. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable with their menu and wine list. I have also noticed that the menu has changed since they first opened; now offering a larger variety. The overall atmosphere is relaxed yet very chic.
This is a great place to go at all times in the night, happy hour ? dinner ? drinks ? late night.
- Pros: menu, wine list, waitstaff and OUTDOOR SEATING!
- Cons: There are NONE, this place is 5 Stars!

Finally, a place that allows me to sit back, have a good glass of wine, enjoy great pizza, and actually be able to hear the person next to me! The prices are very reasonable, and the service is friendly and attentive. What a fantastic way to unwind from a hectic day or week.
- Pros: Friendly, Comfortable, Classy, Very Affordable, Good Wine/Drinks & Food, Service, Parking
Ambiance and value make an unbeatable combination

I was fortunate enough to learn about the Bowery Wine Company from a friend who lives in Manhattan. I live on Long Island and with so many places from which to choose in the city, I might not have ever stumbled upon it. It is a gem worth seeking out. From the classy facade to the stunning interior, everything has been done with a lot of attention to detail. But the best part - it's highly affordable. Huge asset given the economy. I'll go back whenever business or pleasure takes me to NYC.
Top notch at a good price

Really, really a great value! Fun place, attentive staff, and good food and drink especially for the price.

What a great spot! Went on a Friday night and was able to snag the corner lounge area. The waitress was really nice and not pushy. The had a good list of wines to choose from, although I was a little disappointed to not see any Australian wines on the list. We had a party that kept coming and going and the waitress was totally okay with it. It was not that crowded, but I can see how it could potentially get super crowded and hence noisy. The wines are available by the glass, half bottle, or bottle, with glasses ranging from $7-11, so not a bad deal. They also have a happy hour special, which I am very tempted to try.
- Pros: Wine list, service, large area, outdoor seating
- Cons: nothing

I am a big fan of the Bowery Wine Company! The staff including the owners really make a tremendous effort to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They have a nice couch area where 12 of us were able to comfortably sit, drink and talk.
The diverse and reasonable wine list and the tasty snacks are on target. Glad to have this in the neighborhood

The moment you walk in to the Bowery Wine Company you feel a sense of being a VIP even though the ambience is as comfortable as your own living room. The soft earth tones and subtle lighting make it a romantic and fun atmosphere suitable for an after work happy hour or a romantic date. The patio is perfect for a warm evening with friends or lovers (or both). Another upside to this wine bar is you won?t be falling off your teak chair when you see the bill. Extremely reasonable prices for food and wine alike make this refined wine bar accessible to the common man as well as a place fit for the bourgeois.
Affordable, friendly, and looks good (the place, not me)

This place is great, it has a classy yet comfortable feel. Comfortable prices too, we could spend in any range we wanted to that night (happened to be on the lower end of the range), but could also see going all out in a celebration of something (like a raise). Friendly, knowledgeable servers, cool decor, outside seating. It will be a weekly hang out spot for us until everyone finds out about it.
- Pros: price range, decor, outside seating
- Cons: none
