Best haircut, color, styling and repair

I first went to Aya when a friend recommended her to me to fix my really bad haircut. She did an amazing job at working with my fine short hair to make it look great and stylish and now I have long beautiful hair! So now that I live out of town, when I fly in for business it's priority to me to schedule and have Aya do her magic and keep my hair looking great. Aya always finds a way to fit me in even though I may only be in town for a few days. Aya has tremendous passion and skill for hair and beauty. She is also very generous with her staff and everyone loves working here!
- Pros: Really knows hair, can fix bad color and cut jobs, charming
- Cons: I now live in Florida and have to fly up here for my service

Just got a great haircut from Brielle

I have never written a review on Citysearch before, but I had such a good experience at Lotus Salon on Avenue A in the East Village today that I felt compelled to write. I had never been there before, and I went to get my hair cut by a stylist named Brielle. My friend had gone to her last week, and her haircut was great, so I made an appointment with Brielle. Brielle sat me down and talked to me about what I wanted in terms of a cut then shampooed my hair and got to work. She really listened to me and even checked in with me during the cut regarding whether I wanted wispy or straight bangs. I left so happy with my haircut, and a friend just said to me, "That's the best haircut you have ever gotten by far!" My hair is very thin and fine, and Brielle cut my hair in a way that makes it look thicker and fuller. (By the way, she's good with thick hair, too, because my friend who went to her and recommended her has thick, full hair.) Anyway, she is a real pro, and I highly recommend her. It is so hard to find a great hair stylist (especially in the East Village), but I have found one in Brielle.

Best highlights ever!!

I decided to give this salon a try because it just opened on Ave a. When I walked in everyone was so sweet and nice, Wyamone highlighted my hair. She did this painting technique , at first i was scared because i never seen hair hightlighted like that before. Well, the end result was amazing!!! I can't belive how natural my hair looks now.. I'm definally coming back
