Best Indian Food in New York

I had a meeting with my Indian clients in this restaurant and they suggested me try few things here. I tried Tandoori Chicken and I was completely addicted to it now. Very nice taste with little bit of spiciness and the aroma is amazing.

I would recommend you all to try it once.

Best Indian Restaurants in NYC

Darbar Grill is an Indian restaurant with so many variety of food. They cater all kinds of indian dishes and I found them very tasty. The ambiance was very pleasant and lunch and dinners are preferred time.

Food is excellent, prices are reasonable and I recommend it.

I have come across Darbar Grill with unique flavors with excellent ambiance. Tried various veg and no veg varieties and very found some very spicy and yet mouth watering.

Will definitely go there again.

A Must Try for Indian Food Lovers

I love both Darbar locations and can't say enough about their amazing food. I have tried almost every dish on the menu since the lunch buffet features so many dishes. All of the vegetarian dishes are so tasty and not too heavy with sauce. Most Indian restaurants have lunch buffets but Darbar is by far the best. The 55th Street location is great for a special dinner date, conveient location. The 46th street location is more casual but equally as good.

Best Indian Lunch in NYC

If you want to try ALL the great Indian specialties, go to Darbar during lunch Mon to Friday. GREAT food and under $15. The good thing about the buffet is you get to try so many dishes. If you go for dinner, you are limited to one entree generally. The staff is very nice and quick.

Best Indian food in New York!

This restaurant has one of the best Indian food in the city. The food is not too spicy, but well seasoned. The taste is subtle and the food can be enjoyed by all. They catered at an event I organized and their service was great, very professional and accomodating. And, everybody at the event raved about the food! Their restaurant is really great, nice decor, reasonable prices, and delicious Indian food! Definitely try the chicken tikka masala and the reshmi kebab.

Best Indian Restaurant in the City!!!

So, I've gone to Darbar twice and the food and service is GREAT. The atmostphere is beautiful, the waiting staff is warm and attentive, so much to compliment...go and see for yourself!!!

A Great Find

Read the recommendations on Citysearch while in town on business in the neighborhood. Boy, were we glad we checked it out! Terrific food in a nice setting and just-right service. Everything was delicious. I don't usually like pappadums, but theirs were excellent. Even my husband's martini was just to his liking.

Need to check this place out

The food is FRESH and you can taste it. You may wait a few minutes longer than you would somewhere else, but there is no comparison...this place has it down.

I am trying to get the word out so people check it out...the food and atmosphere is PERFECT-O.

They have a great, quiet and elegant bar as well - a nice place for a date, drinks after work, meeting, or night with friends...spread the word.

Best in Town

Darbar Grill has the best Indian food that I've eaten in all of New York City. The buffet lunch is the best deal in town With 6 Salads & Appetizer,3 Desserts. The decor and service are impeccable. I will definitely continue to bring friends here to experience some really high quality Fine Indian cuisine.
