Amazing!!

I work in events, so I've definitely used my share of catering companies in Manhattan-- but I have to say Sweet Basil is the hands down the best company I've had the pleasure of working with. I've used them numerous times for different types and sizes of events and they've never let me down. The staff is always professional and go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. Food quality and presentation is five star and Amy and her crew always go out of their way to customize the menu and decor to the event- tailoring everything to my specifics. I've done events at private residences and they are always accommodating, super trustworthy and dependable. I get tons of compliments from guests at the end of the day, but in reality I should be passing them down to Sweet Basil!!

Great Service and Excellent Food

Amy is a wonderful person to work with who knows exactly how to make your party spectacular. I hired Sweet Basil for my graduation party and for my office's First Annual Meeting party. No matter the scenery or the event the food and service are both consistent and delightful. Amy will work with you to make sure the menu is exactly what you want and to make sure you are not stressed and capable of enjoying your event. Hands down the best catering service!

Excellent company, look no further

Amy is amazing, her menus are fresh and seasonal. Her staff is friendly and professional. I had a party for 50 people and every single person at my party raved about the food and asked for Amy's info for their future parties.

Amy is so helpful in helping choose a menu that will work best for your needs as well as an amazing bartender service. Amy takes care of your every need so that you can enjoy your event. Absolutely. Stress. Free. Perfection.

Relaxed, professional, tasty and charming

It is always hard for someone who's a devoted cook to turn over "her" kitchen to outsiders, but as soon as I met Amy I knew she would be great. And so it proved. Her team are as calm, charming and easy going as Amy herself, but exceptionally sharp and professional when it comes to providing a first class service.

Everyone raved about the food, and it was presented imaginatively, a real visual treat. The team managed the guests' requirements very professionally, creating a good atmosphere. It all went flawlessly.

Finally, Amy and her team left our place immaculate, and left both we, and our guests wanting to see them again, and soon.

Yummy food and seamless service

Sweet Basil provided hors d'oeuvres and desserts for our wine tasting event. All of the hors d'oeuvres were very good and the truffled grilled cheese was especially yummy. In terms of the desserts, my mouth is watering thinking about the balsamic drizzled strawberries.

Overall, we were very pleased with the service we received; Amy and her staff were fantastic throughout the entire process and we would highly recommend Sweet Basil to all our friends.

Amazing Service

We had Sweet Basil cater a formal dinner for 14 people. Everything from set up to cleanup, the staff was perfect. They were such a pleasure to work with. The food presentation was wonderful and I got so many complements from the dinner gusts. Amy did a great job setting up the menu for us. We would definitely use them again.

A great caterer

We hired Sweet Basil for our office holiday party based on the recommendations here and an intriguing menu. We were not disappointed. We dealt with Amy directly, the prices were reasonable for our non-profit workplace, the food excellent and the staff was well-trained and truly went the extra mile. After the party, we received many positive comments from the attendees, including a former executive corporate chef. Highest recommendations from a happy group! Thanks Amy and staff.

Amazing Catering Service, Food and Staff!!!

I recently hired Sweet Basil for a birthday party for my husband and they did such an amazing job! They were so prepared, came a few days before to help with the party layout of our apartment, had great suggestions and were so pleasant during the preparation and planning process!

For the night of the party, the staff was so helpful, the food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how attentive the Sweet Basil staff was and how delicious every bite of food was. Our guests loved the bartender and staff and several said they will be hiring them for future events. I will definitely use them for all of my future catering needs!!

I hired Sweet Basil for a series of corporate C-level VIP events in the past couple months. Overall, the food was a hit and Sweet Basil couldn't be easier to deal with.

Amazing food!

I hired Sweet Basil for a corporate luncheon that was a celebration of the business relationship. I couldn't have been happier with the variety of food and the exceptional flavors of EVERYTHING that they prepared. My client commented several times on the deliciousness of the food and the menu. I wish we could have gone back for seconds but our meeting got in the way! Sweet Basil's exceptional job helped mark the luncheon as a celebration - not simply a shared meal. I highly recommend Amy and Sweet Basil for your catering needs.
