AWFUL!!!!!!

by Mb

DO NOT GO THERE!! Went to Hudson Terrace for the first time last week & I can definitely say that I will NOT be making that mistake again! The crowd looked like they belonged in trailers... so trashy! I realized I needed a drink or two to make that experience a little less painful... But trying to get a drink made it even worse! I had to wait forever for the bartenders to serve me & when they did, they were SO rude... completely overcharged me.... then mixed up my drink & refused to fix it for free! The bathroom line extends forever since they only have 2 stalls for the entire place! And they were absolutely trashed! (Though I guess I shouldn't have expected better considering the crowd)...

The place & whole experience was just awful!!!!!

Worst experience EVER!!!!

by IJB

The bartednders were sooo rude. I got 2 vodka drinks wich were extremely watered down for what they were charging. The two drinks cost me $38 including the $8 gratuity the bartender charged me. There was critter in my drink and the bartender refused to give me another. Said she was too busy. The crowd was so pretentious and the bathrooms were disgusting even for a NYC club. I will never go here again. DISGUSTING!!!

Friends, Djs, and Drinks

by charliescho

I enjoyed a pumped up happy hour here. I wasn't expecting a party but apparently that was my bad. There was a dj and a roof top bar so it gets you in the mood to dance. If you're looking for low key, look else where. But if you want a fun evening out, this is your spot.

Cool night

by MikeyI

I got sucked into Happy Hour by some coworkers because this place is not my usual scene. It's got cabanas, roof top bars, leather lounge and is far classier than I usually attempt to be.

That being said, I'm really glad I went because it was so much better than the usual bar. Check out the happy hour, it's a good time after work

  • Pros: waitress, roof, breeze

Swanky bi-level space boasts amazing views of the Hudson.

by Alexis Korman

Twelfth Avenue may seem a tad out of the way for imbibing, but the views from Hudson Terrace’s killer rooftop lounge are worth the trek. The space--which was once a horse stable--has been transformed into a snazzy bi-level drinking den with daily specials that include two-for-one happy hour (5pm-7pm, Tue-Fri) and live music acts.. The rooftop terrace features glass walled cabanas, a retractable roof and comfy cream sofas ideal for lounging with exotic cocktails like the Bikini Martini (made with Sagatiba Pura cachaca and passion fruit juice). Should the need for shade arise, head indoors to the decadent, jewel-toned Salon level, outfitted with stiletto-proof banquettes and Swarovski crystal chandeliers.

Hot spot in NY

by Jossy

This is the new NYC hotspot where all the other half lives. Not sure why they let me in, but I'll take it! It was definitely upper crust with all the leather and decked out clientele.

So if you wanna feel like you pulled one over on the doorman, get to this place. It's a little out of the way all the way on 12th ave, but the cab ride is only $5 from midtown!

Best Rooftop

by KateLa

Rough reviews, but you need to have the right expectations. This is an upperclass lounge in midtown, so understand that first.

The atmosphere is really chic and plush, so it's great for a date night or a hot night out with some friends. The drinks may be pricey but you're also paying for the experience and surroundings. It's worth it for special night out, trust me!

WORST ROOF TOP BAR EVER!

by swt290

PLEASE..PLEASE..SAVE YOUR TIME AND EFFORT BY NOT COMING HERE. THEY HAVE THE BITCHIEST SERVER, SENSELESS POLICIES BY HAVING A $50 CREDIT CARD MINIMUM AND A BOTTLE SERVICE OF $1000! ARE U KIDDING ME?! IT'S ON THE 3RD FLOOR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I'VE BEEN TO A LOT OF ROOFTOP BARS AND I've NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL I WENT IN THIS $%&*! HOLE. THIS IS NOT WORTH THE TRIP! NOT EVEN WORTH FOR A ONE STAR.

Loving the Roof

by JenBwn

I checked this place out with a group of friends who had heard about it. When we got there, I was put off by the rope, but soon realized that it wasn't so hard to get in.

Once inside I fell in love with the ambiance and the decor. They really decked it out in stylish booths and chandeliers. The rooftop was the icing on the cake with great views and great music.

Highly recommend this place, it's bound to end up a hot spot in NY

  • Pros: Roof top, DJ, chic
