No more stubble....

I stumbled across Gentle Touch from seeing their signage. At this time I was looking into laser at another center. I walked in with my sister and we did our first consultation which was about year and a half ago. Since then I have done my legs and bikini, and so had my sister but she also has done a few more areas than me. I plan to do more when I can afford to, seeing that it works I really want to finish all areas. At first it took a few treatments to see a major difference. It isn't completely painless but it isn't as bad as waxing. Good thing is that your are in and out in less than an hour and when the hair is gone it is really gone for at least a month. I was treated by all three technicians they had working at the time but have decided to stick with Gina for the remainder. For some reason my sister had better results than I did, but I did miss a few appointments which I believe put me behind.

As for the staff, they seem to know a lot about their profession and not BS on anything they tell you. I did meet with a few places before deciding with Gentle Touch. They all seem to be about the same but I like how the owner, person I met with originally, really educated me before going into packages and pricing. It is not the fanciest of centers but I feel they are clean, professional and have delivered more than what I expected.

I hope to start my underarms soon so I can be free of hair for the summer. Great center for laser hair removal!

Hair Free Ladies!

Gentle Touch Laser has treated me and my friend very well. We came in together and bought a package, which we received a nice discount since it was two of us. This was about 9 months ago and after 6 treatments I am soo pleased we decided to go with laser hair removal and not dumping money into waxing. We were treated by Gina and she is a very nice person and professional, which is hard to find. Results are unbelievable, so smooth and no regrowth.

Only issue I have is that sometimes its hard to get an appointment that day, not that big of a deal but that is my only issue.

Great service and treatments! Thank you!

Very professional center with very comforting staff. I started with Gentle Touch in 2007 with my bikini and underarms for my initial laser treatments. After completing my sessions I noticed a few hairs return about a year later in my bikini area. Came back and they took care of it, no charge. With such a great experience with this center and having amazing results I started my legs at the beginning of this year and couldn't be happier with my results again!

To sum it up, they know their stuff and how to treat their clients.

Safe and Effective laser center

Being that I am a light skinned Indian, have some olive in my skin tone, it is difficult to find a center that knows how to treat my skin. I was told by the lady that does my facials, her name is Mammie and she has a wonderful place, that their is a specific laser for these treatments. She referred Gentle Touch, which was the first place I called. My consultation was great, very informative about the laser types, how I should treat my skin and when I would come in.

I waited a few months before I actually came back, school tuition comes first, but I did decide to go with Gentle Touch. This was about 6 months ago and I have done around 4 treatments on my face. So far the hair is no where to be found. I didn't have a lot to begin with but it was not nice to look at anyway. My treatments were very thorough, I felt super comfortable and they have a clean center. If you are looking for laser and are of the same skin color as me or not, I recommend Gentle Touch.

Prime Center for Laser

Having sensitive skin made bikini weathers months for me the most hated. Shaving caused major ingrowns and obviously I wasn't going to be plucking that area. So I looked into laser @ Gentle Touch and was immediately hooked after meeting with Gina and she showed me her treated areas. Only after two treatments I started seeing a major difference. Hairs were much thinner, they take forever to grow back and the areas seem less concentrated. Of course I still have more treatments to go but I was very impressed with my results and how professional everyone is at this place. They also have a really cool referral program where you can get rewarded nicely. I haven't sent any friends yet but I hope to in the future after seeing my results.

True Professionals @ Gentle Touch

Not sure if anyone has had "laser hair removal" done before but just a heads up, not all places use a real laser. Most places out there use a cheap machine called an IPL, it is actually a sales gimmick and doesn't work. I found out the hard way by spending over $8K dollars at a very well advertised place in the city. I am the typical candidate, light skin dark hair, and I got nothing out of it. It is very unfortunate that these places exist but it is fortunate that some centers, like Gentle Touch and a few others, are out there to educate us on how exactly laser hair removal should really work.

I discovered Gentle Touch after attending a fashion show they were sponsoring during fashion week. It was actually a really nice show and networking event. I was fortunate to speak with one of the technicians, Gina who is super nice, and she informed me on how the laser actually works. I told her my past experience and she frowned from the start, I think she knew right away what was happening and why it didn't work.

After speaking with her I wanted to come in and meet with her in a more professional atmosphere. So I had an appointment with her that went very well and I started treatments with her right then. Note this was only a short time ago but since my initial treatment I have noticed a world of a difference in how my hair is growing back and reacting. It is so much thinner and not coming back as fast or in the same quantity. This shows me that laser really works when done with a true laser.

Gentle Touch Laser Centers has very professional and educated staff that I feel is attentive to your needs and concerns. Just a short conversation proved to me they know there stuff and can back it up. Good work!

No more Waxing and no more Shaving

Who really likes going to get waxed by some random person or having to deal with the maintenance of shaving almost everyday? Not me! I really wanted to have laser done but wasn't sure if I wanted to make the investment. I looked and looked for months around the city. Yes some places had really cheap pricing but then again I didn't really know much about the procedure. So I started to doing my research and found so much about laser hair removal I had no clue made a difference. First off you have to go to a place that uses a real laser, not many do. Then most technicians are not certified properly and most important is how you are doing your treatments. The majority of the places I called had the same protocol for everyone no matter who they were. This wasn't right.

I only found about three centers in the city that knew of how this treatment really worked. I chose Gentle Touch because not only did they know their stuff but they were recommended by a doctor that is in the office that my physician practices out of and she is all over the news, I believe her name is Dr. Peterson.

She recommended them and I booked an appointment right away. My first visit was amazing, owner met with me for a nice amount of time and explained in detailed the procedure, the laser they use, the qualification of the technicians and more.

Well I started about 6 months ago and have done 4 treatments. So far so good, hair is barely growing back and my skin feels a lot smoother. My treatments are very nicely done, very clean and consistent. I love the follow calls and the attention from the staff. Pricing is reasonable and definitely worth it for the experience. This center knows their stuff.

Great Referral!

My cousin referred me to Gina at Gentle Touch for laser hair removal. I had a few problems with hair on my body that I feel women shouldn't have in the first place. My consultation was very informative, stuff I had no clue had a difference in treatments was explained. Started about 8 months ago, which I did 6 treatments and now I have absolutely no more issues and I feel so much better about my appearance. Next I think I am going for more cosmetic areas because it has really made an impact on my life and I feel it will help with maintenance on areas that I really don't like having waxed. Superb service and smooth results

Being a graduate student at Columbia and with my tuition fees I am always looking for the best bang for my buck. After doing some extensive research I found Gentle Touch Laser. I signed into their unlimited program, since I mostly want to do everything this was the best for me. It is very affordable and is like a payment plan for my treatments. This was a big plus but what was even better was the actual system they use at this location. I did a lot of research and found this machine was at the top of the charts, I believe it is made by Cynosure. After reading about this machine and meeting the staff I was hook on signing up with Gentle Touch. The best part of this story is that after 6 treatments I am completely hair free and probably saved a bundle with their program. Gentle Touch truly has a superb service to offer their clients and I find all my visit to be very pleasant.
