Very good experience with bathroom

We used Ben at my home for design services for our new bathroom. We had a great experience. As part of a very "design challenged" couple, he led us through the whole process - materials, measurements, overall look and feel and helped us select all the elements. No pressure atmosphere and very professional. He was always available when we emailed with questions or wanted to run an idea by him. Would use MyHome again for future design jobs.

I had a wonderful experience with MY HOME when they did my kitchen renovation, and I now have a gorgeous all new kitchen. The crew and design staff are first rate. I worked with Yoel P. as my project manager and I very much appreciated his always stopping by to check on materials and crew and his immediate response to all my emails. Yoel was always professional, calm and accommodating. Each day the crew would leave my apartment in broom clean condition. and when something went wrong (we had a leak....stuff happens in renovations) the response from Yoel was immediate, professional and complete. I would unhesitatingly recommend MyHome for any renovation project. When they were done I had them paint my apartment, the prep work was amazing It looks like I have new walls!

My Home contractors - highly recommended

What started as a kitchen renovation, developed into doing new flooring for my dining room, and re-tiling my 1 1/2 bathrooms as well. My Home made it as simple as possible (although this is definitely NOT a simple task!). The biggest trauma for me was to clear everything out of the kitchen and dining room!! (which had nothing to do with them!) My Home provided an organized way to make my choices and really heard what I wanted. They were careful with all the details and incorporated my ideas to utilize the space in the way. The materials were of very high quality, (I love my Hanssem cabinets and Ceasarstone countertop!) and for the most part, kept within my budget. I did a little of my own "contracting" for the bathroom tiles, and got a taste of what it is to contract (product not available, going to another source, etc.). The workers were fabulous, efficient, neat and pleasant. I never had qualms about them. The project manager kept in touch, and was always there to field any problems. One item we disagreed on (the size of a cabinet, which was installed), became an issue, but they were willing to work with me on it, and we came to a satisfactory agreement. Final details were completed efficiently. I highly recommend them!

Great experience with MyHome

Used MyHome for the remodel of 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Their showroom had great model layouts as well as samples of almost all materials we were considering. Our designer, Ben Pitt, was terrific - understood our needs and knew how to design for a NYC apartment. Absolutely love the end results. Would highly recommend MyHome.

MyHome did a great job for us, and they stand behind their work. Ben Pitt was an outstanding design partner. He listens well, brings great ideas to the table, he's organized, smart, responsive, a top quality guy. The construction crew showed up, they followed instructions and the quality of their work was very good. Yoel Piotraut is an involved owner, he engaged with us when we had issues and he did the right thing in response. We are big fans, highly recommend MyHome.

Kitchen renovation

My Home recently finished renovating my studio apt kitchen in Kips Bay.Everthing they advertised became true. The designer was great although ibrought my kitchen plans in, He fine tuned them while making improvements. The expediter was a home run. She delt with all the contractors qualifications while dealing promptly with the building mgt requirements. Their project manager and main contractor were great. The work was finished before scheduled and the craftsmanship was high quality. There also were no additional costs that were not in our labor & material contracts! great job!

Not a Horror Story

We had a full bathroom gut reno: bathtub removed, shower installed, tiling replaced, poured concrete floor, new sconces, door, vanity. You get the idea. They also installed a pocket door in the walk-in closet and stripped the nasty popcorn off a column in the entrance area.

4 Stars for delivering on the project as defined. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and My Home helped to realize the vision. Ben Pitt was easy to work with and was great in suggesting materials and finishes and delivering renditions. During the construction phase, Yoel Piotraut consistently made it clear that he wanted us to be happy with what they were doing and it is clear they took pride in the job. The end product was pretty much to the standard of what we expected and we are very pleased with the result. Yoel was great at putting up with my micromanaging tendencies.

Why not 5 stars? Constructive criticism would be "Better Communication" next time - things come up, which is normal, but better to talk about them quickly. That said, there will definitely be a next time for these guys.

This is not the first renovation for my apt. so I have had some prior experience with hiring a contractor and managing a project. This is, however, the first project whereby everything was made easy for me and I was totally stress-free.

From the moment I stepped foot into their showroom, I was greeted warmly and they really answered all my questions and at the same time, I didn't feel pressured at all. Made an appointment for a consultation and I felt lucky that Ben Pitt was my designer. Ben listened to what I wanted and offered his suggestions for what would make sense especially for my super tiny kitchen. Yoel Piotraut was the project manager and he was totally on board from the start. Yoel communicated with me with any problems but other than that, project completed in less than 3 weeks and within budget.

My instructions were easy, make my kitchen beautiful and that was what Ben and Yoel delivered.

Terrifc experience with MyHome

We were extremely pleased with our recent MyHome experience. We did a gut renovation of our antiquated bathroom. Our designer, Ben Pitt, skillfully designed a new bathroom that integated all of our wish-list items into a small space while keeping to the proposed budget. We were offered a wide selection of materials and styles and ended up with a bathroom that is both extremely functional and gorgeous. Our project manager, Adi Kraus, made sure that the construction work was done efficiently and on time and kept us informed as the project progressed. The workmen who undertook the construction were courteous and made every effort to keep the place as clean as possible even while construction was ongoing. I would definitely use MyHome again for future projects.

While I had debated about the idea of renovating, once I purchased my apartment there was no getting around it. It needed a totally new kitchen and bath as well as newly stained floors and a complete paint job. MyHome handled everything from start to finish. They assisted with picking materials and paint colors and yet were open to my own ideas and purchases. During the renovations when things came up out of the realm of their responsibilities (change a light fixture) they were more than willing to assist. They stayed on time (almost) and on budget -- hard to find these days, especially in New York City. Very pleased with the end product and anyone who sees it is quite impressed (especially once they see the before photos!).
