What an Amazing company!

I was working on a research project with my Seagate 500 GB external harddrive connected to the computer. My laptop then crashed on me and when I restarted it, the computer could not recognize my hard drive. I was panicked because EVERYTHING was on that hard drive including valuable pictures and home movies of my kids, my husband's thesis, and a lot more. I felt terrible because a week prior I had dropped the hard drive but it still worked fine so I didn't think anything of it and now it was giving me problems.

We tried plugging it in to the other computers and laptops in our home with no results. When we looked online at numerous blogs and even youtube for help in recovering our data and fixing this problem but in the end everything that was recommended did not help our situation. We turned our computer off for awhile to see if that would work but when the hard drive was recognized, all of the files were corrupted and would not open. My heart sank, I was so distressed.

We knew we had to get professional help for the problem so I called various data recovery places who all wanted me to ship the hard drive to them and pay a fee just to look at it. I was told the evaluation would take a week and then I would be contacted about how much the price would be after which it would tak an additional 3-4 weeks to recover the files. they all told me if it was a mechanical problem and they needed to open up the laptop in a clean room it would be over $1000.

I called Geek Squad and they quoted based on level of damage but of course my hard drive fell into the most expensive bracket which was $1600+ for data recovery. Eventhough I was really desperate that was a lot of money for me. I came across this website with the reviews for BNYtech and I was really surprised at all of the great reviews. It had 45 almost 5 star reviews with a great record of complete recovery of data.

I called them right away and talk to a man who told me to bring the hard drive in. When I got to the location, I was a little taken aback because the office is a rented space in a hotel. I talked with Sergio who was very nice and professional.

He evaluated my hard drive for free and he gave me a guestimate of $300-500 based on the amount of data needed to be recovered. and then called me the next day to tell me if anythinh was recoverable. He fixed my hard drive and completely recovered almost all 500 GB worht of pictures (one video out of 1000's of information could not be recovered) in 3 DAYS for only $500. I was charged this much because of the large amount of data that I had (I ended up putting my files on a new terabite hard drive) otherwise the price would have been much lower.

Overrall, I had a great experience with this company! They are professional and know what they are doing! I am a very picky person and I don't just trust anyone but I went with them despite the location of thier office and I do not regret it! I would use them again and I would definitly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. I have seen them fix iphone screens within 30 min and charge pennies for it. This is truly the place you want to go.

At Union Trust Steakhouse when we opened up a second location we decided to get a new POS system. We went with BNYTech and never looked back!

Through the entire process their sales and support staff were quick and efficient. They have responded to our every need so far and have yet to take a significant amount of time in any inquiry we have. Since this we are attempting to integrate them into our first location and will use them in any other locations we decide to open in the future.

This place is the best!. They fixed my 3G iphone screen really cheap and had my phone ready to go in 15 mns. My phone lools almost brand new. So glad I found you guys before running out and buying a new phone. You are the best!

One of the partners in my firm crashed his laptop (again) while he was traveling. This time, whatever virus he downloaded corrupted the hard drive making it inaccessible (at least by me).

With no hope offered from my outsourced IT group guys , I had to find another source to see if there was any possibility in recovering the files from the corrupted hard drive.

I was originally referred to another data recovery group in New York city, but the turnaround time was long and the associated fees were exorbitant. Fortunately, my CFO recalled working with Bnytech a few years ago and suggested that I give them a call.

Alex was extremely helpful from the initial assessment over the phone and throughout the data recovery process. The turnaround time was approximately 24-48 hours. Given the nature of the issue - corrupt hard drive and deleted partition - Alex worked a miracle by recovering almost 100% of the data. He's my hero!

The partner is happily back to work and my sanity is restored. Until next time....

Best MacBook Pro repair in New York

My daughter's Mac Book Pro screen kept intermittently turning off and on to the point she was having to hold the computer in her lap at about a 70 degree angle just to use her computer. After calling Tekserve ($70 diagnosis fee, $50-$90 estimated cable and $150 labor) and Apple Store in Soho (can't tell you anything sir without an appointment, may be $60 to $600), I finally found bnytech online. After reading the reviews, I called and described the errant behavior. Alex gave me a guesstimate of $100-$150. Immediately drove to the shop where I was given an option for an hour repair for a slight fee. We took advantage and walked out an hour later for $140. I figure I saved $200 to $500 for this repair. Way to go, Bnytech!!

i thought my computer was toast-- i took it to another independent repair store, and they told me i might as well buy a new one. apple told me they could fix it for 800 dollars. i went to BNYtech as a last resort, and even they weren't sure they could do it-- but they did, and for half the price that apple quoted me! i would definitely return here.

BNY tech is incredible. my computer was completely trashed and they fixed it in 24 hours. It wasn't expensive either. I would be more than happy to use there services again.

LIFE SAVERS

These guys are my life savers not once but TWICE!!I went to BNYtech the first time , when my life crushed when my iphone4 fell down 3 flights and cracked :-( The guys there where really nice and understanding ,they're amazing. All my information was still on my phone and worked perfectly fine. And I got to change the color of the phone and all..Then once again my phone got into anther crash and i thought for sure this was the end of it and i was going to have to ditch out anther 800 bucks for anther phone. I called discribed the problem and they were happy to help. They replaced my screen ,the back of the phone and also my home key which wud have cost me an arm and a leg but wasnt even close here. I absolutely love theses guys.. If it werent for them I wud be somewhere in between 800-1600 in the hole.. Like i said before these guys are the real deal , they know what theyre doing .. Its good stuff ..I highly recommend BnyTech theres no other place better ;-)..

Unreliable

I would never go there again for repairs. My laptop's screen died. I took it over and they said they could fix it, then a few days later and said they don't have the part but they can install a brand new screen immediately for a higher price. I agreed I paid $300, and was given a 3 month guarantee,

On the fourth month the "new" screen died again, just in time! Total rip off, I took the computer to a reliable authorized place,never to these liars again.
