I've been calling HCCF for days now trying to get information on a loved one. No one picks up the phone. What a joke of an establishment. They don't wear white sheets anymore, just suits and blue uniforms. To all of them I say, "I wish one day your closest loved one gets locked up, and you are unable to get a call thru!" Shame on all of you awful, mightier-than-thou prejudiced pigs!
Pros: None
Cons: The non-white-sheet wearing, blue uniformed pigs are CONS themselves.

I just called and asked for a friends number to send them money and it took all of 2 minutes on the phone. Stop complaining at every little thing in life. You ever think it is YOU who is the problem.

Hey this is my first time on here and never visited HCCC. Only called their main number and personally they have been helpful. But I have to say sometimes they want to rush u like if it bothers them. I mean come on it is ur job to pick up the phone....But overall I have gotten the info I needed by phone and never really have a hard time getting through. I just want to know info on how are the visits and how to get there??? And what times and days are visits???THanx

i make frequent visits to my fiance who is incarcerated here. i have noticed that many of the people who work here are VERY unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude, but not all i see many of the same people every time i visit and many are also very nice to me and helpful. some negative things i have experienced while i've been there are 1.) i was about 10 minutes early for visitation registration to begin so i sat and read a book, when a uniformed officer walks through th waiting area and yells to another employee, "i wish people would F***ing go home and take care of their families until visitation hour!" i think that was so disrespectful. people are just desperate to see their loved ones, i wish this officer just understood how it felt to have a loved one in jail. it was an unnecessary comment and extremely rude. also one Friday i called to ask if there were visits on that day and they said "No, Monday through Thursday only" my fiance called me and told me not to believe them because they always lie so i went and to find out that there was visitation on that day, that friday only because of the new year. my overall opinion in one word is UNPROFESSIONAL. they also gave me the wrong directions the 1st time i was going there..i think they did it on purpose because everytime i called back when i was lost they would literally habg up and i would call back and say excuse me i just got hung up on and they would hang up..its so frustrating especially when youre going through so much to begin with
Pros: you can drop off commissary at any time in drop box by front desk
Cons: rude disrespectful staff (some not all), unprofessionalism,

I have also been calling the hudson county jail for inmate information and off course no answer. It is ridiculous!!!!!

I have been calling the Hudson County Jail for inmate information for 4 days now and they never answer the phone! It is rediculous that our taxes pay the salaries of these government employees and we can not get through to them on the phone!!!! How is that possible?????
