Bad experience
by Andrerogue
After searching many restaurants I finally found this once. It looked descent at first I thought I will take a chance. I found this place and the person who greeted me was rude. Then when I ordered the Rolls the price was cheap but it matches the quality, they were too oily and gave me a heart burn. I ended up having a terrible time at the show at Madison Square Garden because of this food. I don't recommend
- Pros: The area
- Cons: Food is oily
Kids approved

Bought ticket to see the new cirque du soliel for my 3 nieces christmas present. Parking in midtown is unheard of, kids were whiny. Decide to park in a garage. $25...can't believe it . Saw a decent asian restaurant across the street. needed to feed the kids. worried how most restauant frown with children, but not this one. We were greeted with a smile, quickly seated. Ordered the steamed vegetable dumpling , 8pc for $6 ( told it was made in house) , Seseme Chicken, Lo Mein. and pineapple fried rice. kids were happy = i was happy.
- Pros: kids friendly
Good vegetarian menu
by joa_nl
Went for dinner before a concert at Madison Square Garden. i'm a vegetarian , my other 2 gfriends are not. Finally a place where we can dine and be accommodated with a full vegetarian menu and a separate menu that contain meat. i had their "veggi Chk Skewer " with some really spicy peanut sauce for apps (recommend), then entree South Asian Red Curry with soymeat. yummo.!! . My friend share the sizzling hot-pot serve table side, of course the "real" Chicken in a spicy ginger black bean. they love it. service was prompt and casual . good food. btw Alicia Key rock the garden that night.
- Pros: good place for vegetarian and those who aren't
- Cons: none
Best chinese in Midtown
by otomboy
You won't find better, cheaper, healthier Chinese food outside of Chinatown. The place is CLEAN, unlike most chinese restaurants in the area, which is a major deterent for me when I go to Chinese places. The mood, decor and music really take you out of the pithole atmosphere that the Penn station area is.
Check this place out!

I wondered by one afternoon and stopped in to try out their vetetarian menu. Food is GREAT! The veggies were crisp, but not undercooked, and their sauces were so tasty. I'm not a huge tofu fan, but I tried a tofu dish, and to my surprise, it was pretty good.I stumbled upon this place, but I will definately be going back next time im in the neighborhood!
- Pros: Vegetarian menu
- Cons: None that i can think of....
Bland Chinese food for people who are clueless!
by bettyo70
This restaurant is exactly the reason why I NEVER eat Chinese food outside of Chinatown... tasteless, bland, fake Chinese food for clueless American people.
And they could not even get a simple order correct... Ugh!
- Pros: Better than total starvation
- Cons: Not MUCH better than total starvation

honestly, we found this place because we were waiting to get into the Vesta club across the street. my girlfriends and i were shocked at the great quality of the food. we thought it might be like a take out restaurantm but it was more than decent. very friendly staff. it's too bad i live so far away.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: lack of decor-thought it was a reg chinese takeout..but food will tell u otherwise
