The pizza is definitely great and very inventive, but the rest of the menu is just as good. We've had the steak, the lasagna and many of the appetizers and everything tastes wonderful.

Mad props for Ovo!

This pizza place is seriously controlling my thoughts. It is the only joint I wanna go to for dinner now and I'm trying to lay off the carbs! It's fully not working! I don't even need to see the menu at Ovo because I've got most of it memorized. It's gotta be the Pesto Pizza or the Farmer Pizza with a goat cheese salad and a full carafe of your house red. Cook--fire up the wood burning oven immediately! I have converted my sister, who comes in from Jersey just for the pizza and not to see me, my best friend, my ex-boyfriend, his new girlfriend, my mom, and my dog Wookie. I want to rent the place out for a private party and just have a great time with my friends!

• Pros: outstanding pizzas., satellite radio!, zen waterfalls.
• Cons: , Carbs! Carbs! Carbs!, But I still love it.

Let Zagat's know about this one! The pizaa is excellent and much better than Otto. Ovo has a very warm ambiance, with friendly management and staff. The food is well prepared and a very good value. I eat here all the time, and it's consistently good. And best of all, they deliver!

Ovo (at 65 Second Ave.)

I ordered the prix fixe. The green salad was large and terrific -- excellent dressing. The five cheese ravioli was good but the portion was too small. The house white wine was decent. The ambience was fine and the service was excellent. The restroom could use improvement.

Small, Cozy

Food is great, the place is small and cozy, the music is terriffic, but the staff was a little rude and I felt rushed. Especially the older staff, the younger ones were cute and pretty pleasant. Overall not bad.

A great little place called OVO!

I just happend to stumble on this little restaurant called Ovo. It was such a pleasant surprise!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great food. Not only the "same old same old" but some new dishes that I have never tryed before and good wine.

I loved it and would like to recoment it to all people.

I will for sure come back many times!!!!

Best of Kind in East Village

THE perfect cafe / bistro / trattoria ' pizzerie. "Nouvelle" cuisine -- beautifully cooked and presented. Great place for those who prefer authentic no-nonsense food for grown-ups without pretentiousness. Delicious: clean, pure, vibrant, balanced, sophisticated yet uncomplicated merger of Mediterranean (French, Italian, Spanish, Lebanese) taste and style. Varied and elegant menu, from sandwiches to elegant "specials" (like quail with pomegranate); specials vary and change every week. Excellent pizzas of all sorts, including Provencal and Lebanese styles, cooked just right in wood-burning oven. All dishes are perfectly made; unusual side dishes are just as good as main courses. Big portions, perfect taste and flavor, nciely served and presented; high quality, moderate prices -- great value. Nice wine selection, too.

So this place is great for a nice dinner before you head out for the night, good date place, nice front patio to sit and stare at all the crazy east-villagers (of which I am one)! The food is very good, pizzas look sooo good. Enjoy!

Good bugers, sandwiches and pizza

They make a killer--and massive--burger here. Especially good with goat cheese. Great potatoes, too. The lamb sandwich is nice, too. Very friendly staff.
