Went there on saturday night. The decor is interesting, keeping with the name...very old church like. The food was great. I had the Talapia special wich was awesome and my friends had great food as well. The one thing....so I took a pic of friends and the table and immediately a waiter (who was not our waiter) came over and told us that there was no flash photography allowed....talk about a atmosphere killer (I felt like a little kid being scolded at school).....we had not even gotten apps yet. Anyway about 5 mins later you could hear a group of people singing happy birthday and they took like 20 pics...alll flash and nobody said anything to them.......so will I return...maybe but not if we are celebrating someting cuz....NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED!

Pros: Good Food

Cons: NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!

Best rustic pizza, antipast, salads we have found. We had a large party all from out of town and they were very accomodating and responsive to email questions. The specials were exceptional

i'm from manchester CT. i was in da cups w\ my people big group. every one of us very exited,my friend's 21 st birth day just got the status or u could say permission to drink.we had so much fun .real fun place ,great food, 5 srar service,very nice wine & prices are cheap too.i meet the owner he sad they been 15 or 16 yrs it's long fk'n time .i wish place like this do stay 100'yrs.i highly i say again highly recommend to go to three of cups .me & my friends we will go back.you wanna spend your money go to place like this it's worthy.thank's to the management, all the people who work there .

Pros: gorgeous place,great service,great food,

saturday mar 1 st i went back w/ party of 10 people,my friend's birthday,i have seen few larger party's beside us .i was little woried i might have to wait for food long time,but again i thought this guys are here 16 years.they must know what they are doing.my server was realy happy little man any thing we say he never say no .i got it ,right on rightway answer was just like that.food was realy realy good as allways.they bought a flowerless choclate cake on the house.the was surprise for all of us none of us even tell our server about birthday , we asked him how he knows,my server sad i heard u r conversation.i'm over three of cups many times i will love to go again & again.i love this cups.it's a cool place , they say good food,good wine,good friend , they realy mean it.three of cups one of the best place in lower manhattan i highly recomend every one to go there and enjoy,it's a realy cool place,

i'm writing first timebut i'm been three of cups so many times,there pri fix menu is one of the best for large party's only $22. 3 apps & four choices of main dishes wow.& mon to thurs day early diner special 20% off on entire menu i simply love that.it's a great place in lower east side .i live in e 4 th st btw AVE A & B, i go there 2 or more times every week.woodburning pizza u can't belive unless u try it.i highly recomend three of cups,it is such a fun place.they also have a launge downstairs i love the cups good food & good friends.u guys got to chek it out.

Pros: simply great, lovely

Cons: love it over all

we order from here often...the food is decent, but it usually takes at least 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. tonight was especially bad...1 hour and 35 minutes. two calls to the restaurant, and one to us from a lost delivery guy later, we finally got our food--cold. time to find a new delivery guy, or get him some help.

Pros: tartufo pizza

Cons: slow delivery, phone attitude, overall frustration

This restaurant is one of the WORST in New York City. Hands down. Last Summer, when I moved to the neighborhood, I went and sat at the bar. I ordered a Caesar Salad and had to practically wait on myself for napkins, a fork and had to hunt down the pepper mill myself. Another time I ordered some soup and other food. Then I had them put the soup in a container to go. The bartender stole my bread and when I asked for more bread, he argued with me. I wanted to speak to the manager and the dredlocked bartender argued with me and wouldn't let me speak to him. When I went home, I tried calling to speak to the manager and the same bartender argued with me again and would not let me speak to the manager. HORRIBLE. And I do not go there anymore. And it's too bad because under real management, this could be an awesome place to dine. But it's not and it's like the owners are completely absent and let their subpar staff shoo good people away.

Pros: They let you go home.

Cons: Burnt pizza, mean and idiotic staff, absent owners who are obviously clueless.

I read some of the previous reviews and thought I should give it a whirl. My friend ordered a pizza and I ordered a salad. The pizza was sub-par with not much flavor or anything special. My beet salad was exceptional though. It was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. However, not many people like beets, so I am not sure that helps anyone. We had a great wine, but I have to say the service was so poor it made the dining experience worse. We needed water refills or a napkin and I felt like I spent half the time chasing down our waiter. I probably will not return, but if I do, I'll order my salad to go.

Pros: Beet Salad

Cons: Service, Pizza

I needed to arrange a dinner for 37 coworkers prior to seeing Stomp. Three of Cups was able to handle a group of this size well in the semi-private side area. Servers were extremely attentive to ensuring drinks were kept full, and that food was presented hot. The fixed group menu had an excellent variety and a reasonable price. The bruscetta was the best many had ever had. Also, the selection of beers and wines was great. Whether dinner for two or a group of 40, you'll be happy here. Everyone also appreciated it was informal, and getting dressed up wasn't necessary.

Pros: Great food. Good selection of beer and wine. Great service.

Cons: A little tight, but not restrictively so.

Three of Cups is my favorite Italian cuisine, the food is just awsome/ the service very verry good. i eat here atleast 2 times a month and i reccomened it to everyone.
