we had a karaoke b-day party in the private room for 18 people. the private room is very cute with more than ample space. we looked at a few places before chossing this one and most were very small with undesirable decor, but not here. walking in the front door is impressive from the bar area, restaurant and the private room, it's very different & warm. the service & food were both very good - everyone raved. i would definitely recommend this place for a party -- we had a GREAT time singing, drinking, eating and hanging out!

  • Pros: private karaoke
  • Cons: a little pricey

I threw a birthday party for my mother here and it was great. The manager, Chan, helped me plan the menu and gave insightful suggestions. I had some last minute cancellations and was freaking out, but Apple was more than accomodating and put my mind at ease. The private room in the back has a nice ambiance with the extra bonus of karaoke if you so wish. They will help you out with storing your cake, decorating the room, etc. Appetizers were tasty (chicken skewers and tuna sashimi-yum) and drinks were delish! The waiter kept my Stoli Raspberry and sodas coming. My friends all commented how great everything was. One of the guests was a party planner too, so she knows her stuff. Even if you've never made a party before like myself, leave it to the professionals at Apple. You won't be disappointed.

  • Pros: Service, Appetizers, Private Parties

When my friends and I entered Apple Restaurant we entered a temple like space that was at once large and open but also intimate and welcoming. The restaurant consists of three rooms: the bar/lounge area ?????? the Bom Bar, the main dining room, and a private room for karaoke parties. The d????cor is Asian-inspired as the restaurant serves primarily Vietnamese food, along with Japanese, Latin, Middle Eastern, and Thai-influenced fare. A quiet fountain greets visitors as they walk along the corridor that leads to the main dining area, which is filled with dark wood tables and chairs. The karaoke room, which from the outside resembles a mini recording studio??????there are windows that allow diners to look inside??????houses couches and a karaoke machine. In the Bom Bar, cushiony soft leather couches and low wooden tables fill half of the area. A round bar with high stools and a few tables, which sit before French doors that open onto the street, completes the space. Throughout the restaurant the lighting is soft, flattering, and easy on the eyes. My friends and I chose a table at the edge of the dining room, near the bar/lounge entryway

A great place to hang out and get a big group together. The food is not great. But it's such a large friendly space with such a great big bar, its shortcomings really don't matter. Near R and 6 trains.

  • Pros: Big, friendly, easy to hang out in
  • Cons: Food is not great.

A friend and introduced me to this cool spot during lunch. The lunch specials were reasonable and very tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I almost didn't have enough energy to return to work. Can't wait to try it out after work.

Didn't even notice it was there and I walked right by it so many times. Decided to stop in for drinks after work and stayed to have dinner with friends. Food was great. It was a little quiet at first but soon as it started getting later in the evening - the place was pretty happening. Overall - Had a great time.

  • Pros: drinks, food, atmosphere

My fiance threw a surprise party for me at Apple. We celebrated with 50 closest friends and family members. Apple did an amazing job for us. Our guests raved about the food and the service. The service was impeccable! The manager of the restaurant and his waitstaff took care of every single details to ensure that we have an enjoyable night. Thank you Apple for making the best night of my life so memorable!
