Surprisingly excellent food, though a bit cramped

My girlfriend and I love Italian (who doesn't?), and we love to eat a lot (let's be honest), so we had to try this place when we stumbled upon it after walking the UES all day. Got seated at 8pm on a Saturday night just before a late dinner rush at a cramped table for two. Now Tiramisu looks like nothing special -- it looks like a Crayola factory exploded in this place -- but the food, or at least what we had of it, was absolutely excellent. We shared a house salad and picked dishes from the extensive pasta menu. My Fusilli in cream sauce with Italian sausage was ridiculous. I couldn't stop asking "how good is this? wow!" So if you like good, fresh pasta and salad (the individual pizzas are also well regarded) and don't mind being a little cramped and having to shout over the next table, go to Tiramisu. And if you don't, go anyway.
