Jack Slomovits shot our ceremony in 2005. I am happy to say that what he delivered was pure magazine quality work. No boring posed smiley shots or otherwise stereotypical wedding pictures. He captured unoticed moments during the course of the day that we can now look back and truly see what a unique and happy day we had. He's very easy to work with and never involved himself with the affair. When I told Jack that one of our guests asked me why we didn't hire a photographer, He said that was one of the greatest compliments he's had. I would highly recommend Jack Slomovits as your photographer if youre interested in something truly unique.

Pros: Shoots film, unobtrusive, professional

Cons: he has no twin.

When my husband and I saw Jacks online gallery, we knew immediately that he had to shoot our wedding. Every photo we received could be a magazine cover. He was incredibly professional and friendly through the whole process, giving us ideas for images we would never have thought of ourselves. With everything going on, Jack was right there with a joke and a smile and kept us all from going insane! Well always have our memories, but to see our wedding captured so perfectly, its like reliving the whole day. He even captured moments that Mike and I didnt even see ourselves. We highly recommend him. Dont trust your wedding to anyone else!

We are telling everyone we know about Jack and his beautiful work! He was unobtrusive and professional on our wedding day, which we were so grateful for (I've been to weddings where the photographer was really in the way). But now that we see the photographs, we're just overjoyed. He captured charming photos of relatives that are hardly what we'd call photogenic and seemed to know when to steal the most perfect candid shots simply everywhere. I don't know how we'll be able to narrow down the proofs to select the ones for the album, especially since so many of them are worthy of framing already. Thank you so very much, Jack, for preserving our special day so beautifully.

Jack and crew did a wonderful job doing our wedding. Our wedding was an orthodox jewish wedding, where there were many opportunities for an inexperienced photographer to slip up. Jack never missed a beat. Not only was everything covered in the most artistic way we could have hoped, but we hardly even knew he was there. He was everywhere--yet nowhere to be seen; he seemed to blend in to the environment, and allowed our wedding to unfold rather than being faked or staged. I highly recommend Jack for your occasion. He is also very easy to work with and has great ideas!

Jack is fantastic. He photographed our wedding in may 2006. We had the 2 hour deal and we are truly amazed at what we have for our money. Around 300 fabulous pictures. He was good fun, unobtrusive ( my family and I are camera shy, my husbands are not). No stereotypical wedding photos. Like everyone else has said all our pictures could be on a magazine cover. They have really shown what a lovely relaxed wedding we had. I have certainly never seen such good pictures of us all. My friends in England are now calculating costs of bringing Jack to the UK to shoot their weddings.

Pros: Easy to book over the internet, flexible meeting times, excellent choice of packages.

Jack's photographs of our wedding are beautiful and reflect the story of our wedding day. My husband and I were so super anxious that we feared our pictures would look like a day long panic attack. When we received the pictures (no long waiting) we were amazed at how despite our anxiety, our love for eachother and our families was evident. He captured the beauty and love of our wedding. I am so glad that he was our photographer. Not only are his pictures gorgeous, he is professional and patient, responds quickly to your concerns and questions and is a pleasure to work with.

We flew all the way from Sydney, Australia to get married in NYC. Our wedding photos are amazing....perfect! Jack is a fabulous photographer who told the story of our wedding by his photos. He even helped us find our wedding celebrant. We can't recommend him enough for any couple who wants candid, beautiful photos of their wedding day.

We spent a lot of time looking for a photographer. Jack was clearly the best. He was professional and easy to work with. In short, because of Jack, we not only have beautiful memories of our wedding but we also have beautiful photos to match. For those of you who have planned a wedding (or are planning one now), you'll appreciate how great it is to know when a part of the wedding is taken care of and is in great experienced hands. My husband I had our first meeting with Jack before we even picked a place, and he happened to refer us to a location we wound up using for our afternoon wedding. He even gave us suggestions for places to take pictures before the wedding. In fact, Jack was the first decision about the wedding we both totally agreed on (besides the actual getting married part). One of the main reasons I loved working with Jack was his super quick responses to my emails/calls, and he worked with whatever schedule we happened to cook up. We just got our pictures -and are just delighted with the 600+ shots! All our relatives cannot believe he created a little "pre album" for us as give us this cute box full of all the proofs. Very personal touch. If you are looking for an organized, flexible, photographer to give your wedding photos a spontaneous and unique feel -call (or email) Jack!
