NYC's Staple!

This is a complete haven for those who only dream of a place with any and every kind of hair, make-up, skin-care, and bath products available to mankind. You seriously can’t just run in and out for that one product you are looking for. You’ll find yourself up and down aisles looking at extraordinary items you want to try out. Back in the day when I was young and would venture over to Ricky’s, I would find the most original hair color products. In my recent years not only can I still find every hair, skin and bath product I’m looking for, but I could also shop for my baby as well. On top of your typical products, they also have an array of fun products for everyone too. When I say fun I mean everything from an interesting line of band-aids, bubble baths, tights, bags, costumes, wigs, and so much more. They even have a selection of organic, vegan, and sensitive skin care products which I was pleasantly surprised about. But seriously, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, the people who work here will actually assist you even at times when it’s crazy busy. It’s a staple for many New Yorkers here so long lines and crowds are not uncommon. But that’s ok, it’s definitely worth the wait in my opinion.

Huge Variety of Beauty Products

If you are looking for hair products, body wash or even halloween costumes, just come to Ricky's.

This Ricky's is not huge but they sure sell almost everything anything related to your personal care and beauty products. They carry salon grade products as well so you don't have to be limited to those drugstore brands.

There is also a hair salon inside but I don't dare to try it yet.

The Scene
Need to peruse the Clairol hair dye line? The L'Oreal product contingent? Every color of henna, jazzing and glossing, plus 20, 30, and 40 volume peroxide to mix it yourself? Ricky's has it.

The Services
Got a hankering for neon green powder puffs? Hot pink china doll wigs? Blue butterfly hairclips? Hair mascara in silver, gold, and platinum? Fake tattoos? False eyelashes? Faux beauty mark kits? Ricky's has it. Every color of nail polish? Every color of glitter? Every shade of eye shadow? And a giant multi-compartmented kit to keep it all in? Ricky's has it. Not to mention the array of fancy soaps, ribbed condoms, tweezers, incense, shampoos, hair beads, edible undies, teasing combs ...

Great assortment of Sugar flip flops!

I love Ricky's!!! They have great make-up, especially eye shadow (you should go to the counter to check out the eye shadow)!

They also have a great selection of Sugar flip flops!
