Dr. Pak is by far the best in town. She help me figured out my problem with my skin. And we ended up discovering that it was not a skin problem it was an immune system breakdown. Iwent to over 8 derms/doctors and they couldn't figure it for over 5 years and Dr. Pak ended figuring this out for me.

I have seen Dr. Pak for close to 10 years now. I went when I started to have skin problems which she diagnosed as rosacea and has been treating me for all of these years. I had never had skin problems before and was rather alarmed by the "rash" that had suddenly appeared on my face but I found Dr. Pak to be very kind, helpful and comforting. She listens well is not an alarmist and you never feel she is trying to sell you on a new treatment. She often offers inexpensive over the counter treatments and does not try to sell product. My rosacea is very well under control and I have sent every friend I have to see her and have never gotten anything but a big thank you for the referral.

I started going to Dr. Grace Pak three months ago. I admit when I first started I was skeptical. I have been to many dermatologists in the past and have tried numerous skin care products. I am happy to say Dr. Pak's advice and help is the only thing that has worked for me and my skin. I no longer breakout and she is now working with me to clear the scars I have left over from severe acne. I am very happy with the results so far and with her as a dermatologist. She's not only helping me clear my skin, she's doing so in the most gentle, caring way. :-)
Pros: Dr. Pak has a lot of experience as a dermatologist and is very well venerated in the biz.
Cons: Sometimes the wait is a bit longer than expected - esp. if you are running to and from work. The wait can sometimes be up to 20 minutes, but is well worth it.

In the 11 years I lived in NYC, I had been to many dermatologists for adult acne. Dr. Pak was the first one to clear my skin. She is highly respected in the field and often quoted in fashion/beauty magazines. I don't know what that other person is talking about re: secrecy and unconfident. There's nothing secret about her office, and she seems highly confident in herself... She is a no-nonsense woman; you must be willing to listen to her and do what she says. I now live in Miami Beach and continue to use her gentle facial cleanser nightly.

I went for a body scan, which she did effectively and with lots of helpful information. I also requested a botox shot -- something I've had done before with a well-known specialist. My results with Dr. Pak were BETTER than the other dermatologist I'd been to. I would recommend Dr. Pak to anyone, based on my experiences.

with so many great derms in this city i would avoid this one. office tiny, felt secretive, not informed, doctor not confident. hmmmmm/
