Fi-Di GEM!!!
by Shizid
Overall this place is a "go to" spot in downtown! First off, you are greeted by a friendly, welcoming staff that goes out of their way to accommodate you. The outdoor space is large and is great for people watching and to host any event. Indoors, you are welcomed by vintage glamour, with its sweeping curtains, the soft glow of chandeliers, and a white banquette that screams sheik. The contrasting dark wood is cozy and sexy, especially in the winter. Sit down and relax in a cozy atmosphere and enjoy comfort food and incredible drinks. The food has been amped up by the new chef, Jonathan Lemon, turning old-time "American" classics into modern delectable fare. The menu provides a vast variety in selection to please any palate. I do however recommend the Lamp Lollipops, Lobster Mac, and the Tuna Tar-Tar, as well as the chefs creation of BBQ Pork Buns...simply WOW! The bar is sleek and sexy, great to grab one of the delish cocktails and gab with one of the friendly barista's. Try the Berry Caipirinha and/or the Liberty Lemonade. If you have not tried Zigolini's, you must! Either yourself or your entourage will be pleased!!! I highly recommend!!! Baci!
- Pros: outdoor spot, great staff
- Cons: cant think of any now
Best Mac N' Cheese I've Tasted!
by wrldtrvlr58
I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about because the staff was wonderful when my friends and I went to Zigolinis, the hostess was lovely, as was our server. The Lobster Mac n' Cheese was to die for! Never in my life have I had such a unique and tasty version of this favorite comfort food.
I understand from coworkers it gets quite busy at lunch--but it's the perfect, quiet dinner spot for any night of the week I'd say. My friend had a burger and raved about it--and another had the salmon...all great reviews! Prices aren't bad either. Two thumbs up!
- Pros: Good service, delicious food, reasonable prices, attentive staff

I've been here twice (for dinner) in the past month and I have to say this is a great little place! Perfect for an intimate night out! The food is delicious with a nice variety of both tapas and full meal options. The staff is knowledgable, attentive and atmosphere couldn't be better!
If go here you will not regret it! Enjoy!
- Pros: Service, food, staff, ambience
- Cons: none

Don't go...
by js76
If you're looking for a quick lunch downtown, do NOT go here. I met a friend for a quick lunch and ended up waiting 45 mins for the food at which time, we asked to cancel our order. The restaurant was not full and they still could not turn around orders in less than an hour. Rather than allowing us to cancel our order, they insisted that it would be ready and packed it for us to go.
To apologize for the long wait, they offered us some dessert wine. So in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, without giving us our lunch, they offer us alcohol. Not sure that's the best solution when clearly, we were in the middle of our work day.
Very disappointing, will not go back.
- Pros: The ambience is quite nice
- Cons: The service and time to get food is unacceptable.

Fresh, tasty Italian lunch
by sluigij
Zigolini's is a self-serve cafe which serves very tasty, good quality sandwiches, pastas, and salads. Though the quarters are tight, you can usually get a table. The portions are ample. Prices are a bit high, but typical for the neighborhood. Lunch and soda runs $7 to $10. A decent spot for a quick lunch.
- Pros: fast, good portions, fresh & tasty
- Cons: crowded
