I am very grateful to WSS for helping me find a job in a very difficult market situation. I had hard time after graduation trying to find a job on my own. However, immediately after submitting my resume to Wall Street Service, I got a call from them and was invited for an interview and an assessment. They started working with me right away, submitting my resume to their clients, including big financial firms. I got 2 interviewws with Goldman Sachs this way, which I know I would never get on my own. People at WSS helped me all the way through the hiring process, calmng my fears and giving me advice. Thanks to them, I got my dream opportunity with GS. I would highly recommend their services. Not only they are professionals and have extensive contacts in the industry, they actually care about the people who come to them for help. I felt like an individual and not as one of many lost on the marketplace.

I generally do not participate in writing reviews. I prefer to allow people to have their experiences and allow that to be the best learning process. However, I felt compelleled to put my own review of Wall St. Svcs be cause I want people to get a better understanding of the service they provide. Yes, the testing process is about 1 hour in time. But it is time well spent (isn't your job search worth it?) in properly accessing your skill set for particular assignments. How many of you have been placed in jobs and have asked yourself "what am I doing here?". Wall St Svcs. is trying to avoid the rush and place syndrome of most firms with little or no concern for the applicant. My personal experience at Wall St Svcs. has caused me to refer others because they take the time to understand and care about my employment needs and concerns. I went out on several interviews and some with the same company, but all for positions that were interesting and held out promise of career growth. I have temped for many years with several agencies, so my experience is varied and skeptical to begin with. I can't promise that everyone will have the same opportunities with Wall St Svce as I did. But I can say that the staff is always professional and friendly. And I felt that the Placement Advisor earnestly tried to match my skill set and experience with all of the interviews I was sent out on. I am still working with Wall St Svcs and I am currently on a career path at a very prestigious international Investment Bank. If this is what you seek, I wish you the same and better in your job search. Peace

Pros: Variety of job assignments, location, pay rate, benefits

Cons: Work; some of us have to do it.

This is an agency that clearly accepts the best of the best candidates! They source for top level companies. The professionalism is top notch. Testing is somewhat lengthy but the outcome is well worth the registration process. If you have that competitive edge and can excel through their interview process, the end result is not just a job but a career! Excellent Services and Excellent Results!

Pros: Exceptional Service and top level companies

Cons: testing is somewhat challenging but worth the end result

Save your time and avoid this place. About a month ago I had a representative call me at work and ask me to come in for an interview. When I got there the 2 guys at the front desk made me laugh and hung up my coat for me. After that I had to take a test (which took about 45 minutes) and then met with a really smug woman who spoke to me in a condescending manner. Since then I havent heard anything, even though they told me I did better on the testing then most people they see. I asked a few friends and they also told me that this place was a huge waste of time and never produced anything for them. This company cant do anything for you that you cant do yourself. They will mislead you and then ignore you. There are plenty of other companies that will not only find work for you quicker, but will communicate with you and not treat you like garbage.

Pros: none

Cons: too many to list

In the past few months, I have registered with several agencies. I get dressed, interview style, put my best face on, walk out resume and passport in tow. Feeling good feeling confident. Now the confidence and the good vibe can fade quickly if you open the door to a staffing agency's office and you see four chairs, no magazines or water in sight. That can be a turn off and a waste of time BUT when you walk into Wall Street Services open air office with the communal desk going on down the middle, they take your coat, you see the little pint size poland springs, and the classy cranberry colored chairs, you think ok, i can do this. I like it here. Then you test, you meet with an interviewer or two. They make you feel like you are great and can get any job. I enjoyed the experience I must say. And I would work with them any time. Good stuff.

Pros: great space, good people, good music

Cons: lots and lots of paperwork...

Located in the scenic and fast paced Financial district near the Wall Street Tauro statue is the best employment agency in New York City. If you are looking to enter the workplace after a long hiatus or to advance to a higher level job in Corporate America. I have worked with other agencies in the city and none have been as professional and respectful. The staff and their beautiful office just conveyed a high sense of integrity and professionalism.

Pros: Friendly, Helpful, Professional, promptly return calls and emails

Cons: none

Wall Street Services is by far the best staffing agency I have ever worked with. The professionalism is unaparalleled and the quality of people are beyond top notch. The staff is extremely courteous and very diligent in their approach to finding the right match for employer and employee. The turnaround time is very quick as I was interviewing shortly after my resume was submitted. Greeting cards for the holidays and other occasions are sent by the staff as well. That just gives you an insight into the types of people you would be working with. It truly was a wonderful experience to work with Wall Street Services.

I have used different agencies and WSS has been the best experience so far. i have little experience in the corporate industry and instead of being snubbed, they are just as diligent in finding me work. the turnaround time is QUICK! literally i sent them my resume one week and the next, i was working. They've been professional and at the same time, i can shoot the breeze and have a laugh with any of the staff. I was recommended to WSS from friends and i continue to recommend WSS to friends. check them out! theyre awesome!

Pros: returns calls/emails very promptly, great location

Located ajacent from the famous Wall Street Toro statue is the employment agency that put me in the mix of Corporate America. I was very fortunate to send my resume out over the internet to this agency because not long after they received it, I was aked to come in. I have been to plenty of agencies before but my first impression of this place was professional and very respectful. The staff and their beautiful office just conveyed a high sense of security and know how within me, so I did not mind so much when it was time to take the series of annoying skills tests. After just 2 days of waiting, I was placed at a great company, making a really good rate. Then I was transitioned into another job with a major investment bank, which I have just recently became a full time employee with. The staff is extremely supportive and helpful and I could go on and on about why anyone looking for employment, should seek out Wall Street Services as their employment agency. Offering a full list of benefits for the temporary employee like transitcheks and medical coverage. They are the best search light you can ask for in this highly competitive job market.

Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff. High profile client list and great benefits

Cons: can't think of any

Wall Street Services found my resume when searching on some of the larger Internet job posting sites (Monster, HotJobs, etc.). While I wasn't getting much feedback from these larger sites, Wall Street Services helped me find a challenging position with one of the most elite companies in both New York and the world. The entire interview to hire process took only three weeks. They remained in constant contact and served as a very professional liason between both myself and the organization. I look forward to the opportunity they have helped me obtain and working with Wall Street Services in the future.
