I went with a group of friends for someone's one birthday and we had an awsome time there. It was crowded all night with a pack of fun people most of whom seemed to be celebrating something. The floor show was the best point of the night it was all around you and all out that drag made me dizzy with pleasure. The "girls" of Lucky Cheng's are sweet and funny and gracious hostesses and made our night out a success. It was like going to an amusement park, the circus and for great Asian food all wrapped up in one.. Try it out and you will not be disappointed..
Pros: the strong drinks, and fancy showgirls

Went their last Saturday night and had a blast with my friends that were in from out of town.. I have not been there in a few years but things have only changed for the better including the show and the food.. I think that if you are looking to shock or surprise a friend or two this is definitely the place to do it.. Where else in this city can you get dinner and a show for just over $30 a person. No place that would this much fun I know that much..
Pros: stron strong drinks
Cons: crowded but fun

Hear much ado about it from friends and coworkers but had never been until the other night when I was surprised with a 40th birthday party. The place was great everything about it was on the money and well worht it! The people that work there are awesome and amazingly friendly my waitress even sat down at the table with us to discuss the show. We were really impressed by the floor show it was a sight to behold and went on right in the dinging areas while we had dinner. I could not more highly reccommend Lucky Cheng's as a great place to shock and surprise anyone celebrating anything.. The fun never ended with dinner we stayed and rocked to some karoake in the lounge afterwards it was a night to remember.
Pros: fun atmospere, great food, fun folks
Cons: waited for our table but it was well worht the wait

I had my last minute bachelorette party here last Saturday night. We made dinner reservations for the late night show and had a blast. Our waitress, I think her name was Chole was gorgeous and amazingly attentive. She got us started on what would be many bowls of drinks. Depending on what you ordered, the food was great or a miss but the drinks and the show were amazing!! My best friend who is a 6'4" good looking straight guy was picked on all night and ended up shirtless with his belt tied around his neck. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING is all I can say.
Pros: the girls, the show, the drinks
Cons: not good for those who blush easily

I had been here years ago, and had a blast, the place was then clean and bright and very entertaining. I decided that Lucky Cheng's would be perfect for a bachlorette party. We made reservations so that we could enjoy both dinner and the show. They did not have a table for us even though they did have our reservation. We got stuck at a table that was meant for 4 people, not 7 and as a result were practically on top of the people at the next table. We had to hold our plates on our laps as there was no room for them on the table.....that's pretty bad, but we were trying to remain in the sprit as we were there for the "show" . Well there was no show where we were seated, the show was downstairs, I specfically made reservations for dinner and a show, we decided to eat here only because of the show, not the food!! We got to pay $36 each what is no better than take out chinese food, which due to the tight seating was eaten off our laps. The only entertainment was a drag queen that came out and proformed the occasional lap dance, but only when someone was willing to shell out the $25. Again no problem with shelling out $25 for a really good lap dance, but that does not make a show. Very dissapointing evening.....and the place has turned into a dirty dive.....very sad, this was once a fantastic clean place to go.....the owners are obviously just raking in as much cash as possible, and letting the place get run down.
Pros: Fantastic lap dance, very unique. Get a drink at bar & pay for lap dance- Do Not Eat Here!
Cons: Dirty, expensive, cramped, and food is very overpriced, some staff can be very rude.

Was the perfect send off for a dear friend's last moments of single life. Speaking of single, every single thing about the place was fun.. from soup to nuts which is exactly how my girlfriend went when she was given what they referred to as a drag box, which was in essence a site to be seen lap dance of sorts. Our waitress was Diandra and she made the night a complete blast when she was not running ragged getting us our flaming queen cocktails, strong by the way, she was literally one of the girls and made the event so sweet and memorable for us. The show was three ring circus in nature with things and acts going on all around you as you sat and had dinner. I highly recommend this place to any gal looking to be the star of the wedding scheme. I was blown away as were my guests... Take a cab though, the drinks are lethal....
Pros: diandra, diandra , diandra ask for her
Cons: bit of a wait for our table

Went in a skeptic, despite having heard for years from tons of people I know and work with who had been there how much fun they had had and I came out a believer. .. What can I say more then that the drinks are strong, the show is over the top, and the food was surprisingly good... I think the food sometimes in these reviews gets a bad rap because we had a tasty pre set menu from which we were able to choose from a variety of plates and they all were pretty good. I highly recommend the place to all looking for a great place to party with friends or celebrate almost anything.. Will be going back soon and think you should too..

Who knew how much fun one could have at Lucky Cheng's, I had been there years ago, and I have to admit after all of this time has passed I was doubtful that I would enjoy the experience but knew that my friends visiting would have a blast there. But to my surprise i was impressed by the new show style and length odf time it went for and how the menu was redone in an easy to understand pre fixe format making the ordering simplified and the food was quite tasty and surprisingly large portions. I had had a good time on my earlier visit but this time was so far beyond that I felt the need to write in let other folks know that this is THE PLACE to celebrate anything even just life. It was great and I cannot recommend it any more highly then to say that I intend on taking anyone in the future who comes to visit me there and i hope you do the same.. Fun and beyond fun to be had by all...
Pros: the asian dragdoll show was offf the wall, the servors were fantastic
Cons: tends to eb a bit of a wait for your table although the drinks are strong enough to make that wash away quickly

HAVING GONE THERE SEVERAL YEARS BACK, I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL AS TO WHETHER OR NOT I WOULD HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD ENJOYED AT THAT TIME. BUT TO MY PLEASANT SURPRISE THINGS HAD CHANGED, BUT FOR THE BETTER IN MY OPINION. THE SHOW WAS GREAT, WITH PERFORMERS DOING OUTRAGEOUS THINGS AND LONGER IN LENGTH. THE FOOD ALTHOUGH NOT ON PAR WITH OTHER PAN ASIAN RESTAURANTS WAS STILL QUITE GOOD. I GOT MY FRIEND A "DRAGBOX" DANCE PERSONALIZED JUST FOR HIM AND IT WAS AMAZING. THE PLACE IS STILL, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, A BLAST AND WELL WORTH THE TRIP DOWNTOWN.
Pros: FUN , FUN, AND MMORE FUN
Cons: THERE WA A BIT OF A WAIT FOR OUR RESERVED TABLE

Food was the best part of this place. The drag queens were VERY pushy about us tipping and spending more money on drinks, etc. We couldn't use the restroom unless we tipped the person down there handing out paper towels (she told us very rudely that it's polite to tip) Even though we paid 32 bucks for dinner and a show, they still came around with envelopes for MORE tips for the "show" girls and their "dancing" . This was the worst part; we couldn't see the whole show (which was just one woman walking around making fun of the bachelorette girls and cursing at them) because there are 3 different rooms and no stage. Just a girl walking around with a microphone saying things like "congratulations you F%$#ing Sl**!" That's entertainment?!?! I do not recommend this place at all. It was dirty and the wait staff was not sincere. They just wanted money.
