Slow service
by thongwedgie
Went around lunchtime with a group. Food was slow. It took half an hour to get cheese fries. Took 45 minutes to get regular fries. Would have left but already paid for food. Food was so-so. Would not recomend.
- Pros: The bartender was cute.
- Cons: The food took so long to bring out I could have grown the potatoes myself, peeled them, and cooked it in about the same amount of time.
The Best Wings and great Bar staff
by TravisTickle
The wings at Eddies are the best in the EV. I went in there this past sunday and even though I hadn't been in there for a year the bartender recognized me and made me feel right at home. the happy hour 2 for 1 drinks thing stays in effect all day on sunday. Perfect for watching games.
- Pros: Great wings
Best Buffalo Wings I Ever Had!!
by cherryxbomb
It?s a relaxed place to deflate from the daily grind equipped with a pool table, game machines and a Duck Hunt Arcade that needs all the props it can get. It doesn?t hurt that it has the best spicy wings EVER!! I've had wings from a few award winners; so far no one has beaten Nice Guys. The only thing is...you need to go on the right night to chill with the right crowd for you. It definitely deserves a peak.
- Pros: Food, Games, Service
- Cons: Parking
SOO MUCH FUN
by max1059
I went here a couple weeks ago on a Thursday night and seriously had the time of my life (which is a lot to say about going to a random bar). I am not from the city but was in town visting, happened to walk by the place and stopped in with a friend of mine to have a drink or two. There were two extremely good looking bartenders with some of the best personalities, they didnt just get your drinks and walk away, they hung out, drank with us and we all had a blast!! We wound up stayin almost until closing and will definately go back on another Thursday when I come back to the city. Trish and Casey, you guys are the best!!
- Pros: Hot bartenders
An all-female bar staff draws crowds to this dark East Village haunt.
by Contributor
In Short
This sports and beer bar draws a diverse crowd, including locals, East Village hipsters, indie rockers and sports fans. Three televisions, inexpensive pitchers and abundant seating allow for long-term lounging and hanging out. The kitchen turns out calamari, chicken fingers, nachos and more pub grub favorites.
Perfect neighborhood spot for a beer and some sports
by tripleagent
If you need to just hang out, grad a pint, and get some good bar grub, this place is perfect. They have specials to coincide with sporting events like $10 pitchers, so it's very cheap too!
- Pros: Bar food is good
- Cons: Beer selection
Not for the sports fan
by pshah1016
I thought I was getting a great sports bar with a great atmosphere. Instead, I ended up with a local townie bar and not so great tv's to watch with. The beer isn't as cheap as expected and the atmoshpere isn't as great as expected. The bartenders is are nice though.
Friday night bartenders rule!
by whiskeypissed
I adore the bartenders on Friday nights! Two really pretty girls who are totally unpretentious...a rare find in this neighborhood nowadays. My boyfriend and I have spent many a Friday here, and plan many more.
One word of caution: there's one girl that works there who is really friendly, but not such a great bartender. It was a Saturday night, I think, and the other bartender was doing all of this girl's work, and we were sitting right in front of her, but she was paying attention to some good-looking guy with a lip-ring all night. At one point, the waitress actually came over to us and asked us if she could help us! She'salso there on Tuesdays, during the day - do yourself a favor and stay out if that lipring guy is there - you just won't be able to get her attention.
- Pros: great happy hour, awesome wings, Fri bartenders!
