A diamond in the rough...

Elizabeth Ryan is full representation of beauty - inside and out! I was surprised to find the "country" ways in the big city. She knows flowers and she knows her people!!

Better than rejuvenation! Elizabeth handled the flowers and table designs for my Aunt Iris' 70th birthday. Aunt "Blue" Iris' memory is starting to fade, but she still talks about those flowers and the beautiful designs. The bald black woman that works in the back is also very nice and helpful.

Never have I been met with such integrity and humanity in all my years as when Elizabeth Ryan stepped in and dealt with my order. The stakes were very high and she went over and above board to do the kindest and greatest good for all involved. She taught me that she is not simply out to make a profit but to contribute to the peace and happiness of all by taking several extra steps when she really did not need to even make one. Her staff has learned by her example. She taught me what true giving really means. And she also taught me what it means to do better in your own life. To listen better. To understand. To have compassion. To offer a kind word. To make wise decisions. To forgive. To keep going. To celebrate joy. To appreciate beauty. To tell people what they mean to you. It doesn't get any better than Elizabeth Ryan. The beauty never ceases to amaze, delight, bewilder, entrance, charm, dazzle and light up your heart!!!!

I have lived in many places, and having flowers in my home has been one constant year after year, city after city, country after country. Elizabeth Ryan offers the most beautiful arrangements of anyone. If you love flowers, then Elizabeth's arrangements are the best,

I've tried this florist & that florist - especially when the recipient was not located downtown . Yet each time I go back to Elizabeth Ryan . Why ? Because she takes pride in her work and the arrangements are always fresh & beautiful . Placing an order is uncomplicated & quick and you can be sure that it will reach the party intended on time with oo's & aah's for the elegant and often unusual presentation .
I'm happy to be the first in 2007 to offer my comments .

Not only are Elizabeth Ryan's arrangements gorgeous, but the customer service is incredible. Everyone in the shop goes above and beyond to help you out, and they pay great attention to what you say you want (rather than assuming they know best). And when I had to send a bouquet at the last minute to Westchester, they personally took care of all the arrangements and managed to have something amazing delivered. I would never order from anywhere else in New York.

Elizabeth Ryan was the floral designer for my wedding. Don't go anywhere else for wedding arrangements. How good is Elizabeth Ryan ? She read my personality after 15 minutes of light chatter in her floral studio. There was no need to shuffle through boring pictures of sterile arrangements. She came through with an absolutey incredilble arrangement of fruits, flowers, fresh and dried that was unbelievable.

Elizabeth Ryan's floral designs are fresh, balanced, stylished, and always go beyond the dull and tedious nature of run-of-the-mill floral designs that you find in more mainstream, lower grade floral shops.
She is friendly, understanding, and most importantly, thorough! She is one of New York's hottest names in designs, and I would never consider another florist! For those interested in going above and beyond the humiliating bouquet of cheap, paper-wrapped roses. . . look no further! I have never been disappointed. I can't say enough, really.
