I got the best massage and facial ever here! The staff are all really friendly, and the atmosphere was very inviting! Their products are all extremely gentle, and the staff are not pushy about selling products! Highly recommended!!

Pros: Service, Location, Therapists

Cons: None!

Their website seems incredible! Which was why it was such a huge disappointment. Checking in for my massage, I inquired about their other services. Turns out the "nutritionist" is not a nutriionist at all - but attended some weekend courses on holistic health, for the price they charge to meet with her I expect more valid credentials. They advertise acupuncture and naturopathic medicine but had neither service available. In the waiting room, I had to listen to the receptionist pressuring a client to pay for a years worth of treatments with the owner, Dr Musso. Seemed outragous, pushy and ridiculous. Worse, they made it seem like there was something wrong with the client, like they didn't want to take care of themselves because they weren't "commiting" to this very expensive package! When they tried again to politely turn it down, they made them go back and talk with the owner. I felt so sorry for them. Disappointed already, I went in for my massage - which was fine except for the rodent running along the wall. Hardly relaxing - and digusting. I don't plan on going back.

Cons: rodents, dirty, pushy

I read the reviews and expected the same experience as everyone, but was completely disapointed. The place was run down and looked like my first studio apt in nyc. The staff was friendly, but the massage, the price and the atmosophere was a total rip off. I say go somewhere else.

I just recently went to Sea Change for a massage, and was very impressed with everything about the place. The staff was warm and welcoming, and very attentive as soon as I walked in the door, offering me green tea while I waited. The place itself was very calming and peaceful, with soothing music playing in the background, and perfectly dimmed lighting. The place apparently just underwent a renovation, and the hardwood floors and calming colors and drapings on the walls were a perfect touch to everything. And the massage was AMAZING. Their massage therapist totally customized the massage to my needs, and I drifted off into bliss for 60 minutes, feeling like a new person when it was over. I TOTALLY recommend this place!

Pros: Attentive staff, on time appointments, customized and caring service

Cons: none

Not worth the money. The place was rundown, the rooms were claustrophobic and the massage was just ok. After reading their credentials, i expected a lot more for the money. There are a lot of better finds in NYC if you are looking for a great massage.

I tend to be pretty picky about massage, and I find its best to stick with the same 2-3 therapists, but every once and a while I branch out a bit to try and find something different. I walked into this particular establishment on a whim (its only a few blocks from where I work), and had myself what might well be one of the best massages I've ever had. The therapist was perfectly intuitive, and she seemed to know exactly what I needed without asking. My wife had a massage with her the next week, and she agreed completely! We're definitely going back next week. The whole staff was warm and friendly, not to mention knowledgeable, but this place really lets their service speak for itself, and for me, that is what counts. This therapist will certainly become one of my regulars! The only downside is that they don't seem to have a massage therapist available every day, so I'd call before walking in, but its worth the effort of making an appointment.

Pros: AMAZING MASSAGE

Cons: Not great for walk-ins

I have never had such a wonderful spa experience. This place is an oasis. The atmosphere is relaxing, the receptionist so nice and welcoming (as if I were a guest in someone's home), and my facial was amazing! The treatment felt wonderful and soothing, and the all-natural products really did wonders for my skin. The products are all for sale, but there was very little pressure to buy, which of course made me more apt to do so. I'm going once a month til I go broke! That said, the value is actually quite good for this city.

Pros: Warm, friendly staff, Clean, Excellent service

My wife and I went to Sea Change to receive a facial and a massage combination. As soon as we stepped off the elevator we felt as if we were transported out of NYC and into an oasis. The environment was relaxing, the staff were warm and friendly. Any apprehension I had was instantly transformed into ease. Our facialist was so gentle that I though "is she doing anything?" Well, let me tell you--my skin has been radiant ever since. Years of chronic acne are starting to clear up!!! This was followed by a massage. The massage therapist not only gave us incredible massages--I fell asleep--but also helped to regain motion in my rotator cuff that I had injured playing college ball and my wife no longer has all the back spasms from being pregnant with our twins. We were so impressed by the staff, the level of service, and commitment to our well-being that we go back every week and will continue to do so. Thanks Sea Change!

Pros: well worth the value, staff, nurturing, an oasis in Chelsea!

I went to Sea Change to experience bliss, and that is what I got! A friend referred me here for Network Spinal Analysis to help relieve stress. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was definitely NOT in Manhattan! Dr. Musso was supportive and nurturing, and the work has given me a renewed feeling! I also tried acupuncture and massage, which were an added benefit! Next from the menu, Acu-lift Facial Rejuvenation and Cyrotherapy facial!

Pros: peaceful, supportive, variety
