Terrible!

I was alarmed at just how unorganized this joint was. I apparently had the first appointment on a sat and the store wasn't even open when I arrived. I came back an hour later and asked what happened and the lady gave me some lame excuse. The exam was horrible! There was gum wrappers on the floor and very old, dusty looking equipment. I'm getting a new exam somewhere else! Don't waist your time or money here!!!

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS THAT'S WHAT IT DESERVES!!!
I regret not reading these reviews before I went. I didn't think it would be so bad but its been a month and I still don't have my contacts. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! They lie to you saying the contacts are coming and whatever but they are just stalling time. WHATEVER YOU DO NOT GO HERE! I NEVER GOT MY TRIALS WITH THE ACTUAL CORRECT PRESCRIPTION !!!!
- Cons: LIARS, FAKES, HORRIBLE SERVICE

AS A GIFT TO MYSELF I DECIDED TO GET A PAIR OF NEW FRAMES, I HAD AN EYE EXAM WAS GIVEN A RX FOR GLASSES I ORDERED SOME DIOR'S AND WHEN I WAS CALLED TO COME AND PICK THEM UP I DID BUT TO MY ASTONISHMENT THEY WERE DKNY AND NOT THE PAIR I HAD ORDERED. I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD PICK ANOTHER PAIR. I WAS DISGUSTED, I LOOKED AROUND AND FOUND NOTHING, THEY GAVE ME 'STORE CREDIT". WHEN I WENT TO MY EYE DOCTOR I WAS GIVEN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RX FOR GLASSES. SO MUCH FOR THEIR OPTOMETRIST. I REALLY WISHED I WOULD HAVE READ THESE REVIEWS. STAFF IS FAKE.....WATCH OUT!!!
- Pros: NOTHING
- Cons: EVERYTHING

I never had so much fun shopping for glasses. The clerk was joking around with me and telling me how good I looked in some frames and how bad some were, she seemed like she really loved her job making the customers look good and fashionable. The prices were reasonable and she kept making discounts on the different coatings and tints, adding in some for free. The doctor was a riot joking around in about 8 languages, he was so friendly and funny. I got an accurate prescription and from the clerk I got a pair of really great quality glasses that I am proud to wear. I will go back for another pair soon. I really love my glasses.
- Pros: good quality glasses for good price
- Cons: none

Shady and dishonest! I've discovered that they have been overcharging me for contact lens. Please avoid at all costs. Do not give them your business.
Avoid at All Costs, or it will Cost you A LOT!

Extremely hard sell. Hasty and less than thorough Optomotrist. This experience was awful. The staff was friendly and very misleading, they are out to steal your money. They tried to sell me a pair of eyeglasses for $500. Are you kidding? That is more expensive than any purchase I have made at lenscrafters in the past. They seemed to be just making up the prices as they went along. As I started to resist the purchase and show signs of mistrust, the price started coming down. More and more until they came down to the actual retail price of the frame, which is still an unbelievable amount to charge for glasses. I am never going back to this location, I don't like haggling for my eyeglasses.
- Pros: location? but really no pros
- Cons: everything about this experience.
great store all around

Candida showed me the frames and she was extremely helpful at finding me the right frames for my face, and getting the best combination of tints, coatings, I got everything I wanted. Not only that but she entertained me with stories and jokes, she should be on television, comedy central. The staff was professional and the frames were all top quality designer frames. The glasses were ready in only 3 days and I can see perfectly. Doctor Minella gave me the exam and the prescription was perfect, and Ed the optician, did a perfect job at making the glasses while I waited.
- Pros: knowledgable staff, good frames and price
- Cons: none

I went in on Sunday just browsing. The very perky assistant was patient and really knew her stuff. I walked out of there with 2 pairs of really nice glasses and an exam for a lot less than I would have paid anywhere else. 2 days later I got a call letting me know that everything was ready for me to pick up. I'm very happy with my glasses and I'll keep going back.
- Pros: Knowledgable and honest sales person
- Cons: a bit too honest
great doctor

I've always gone to a private practice eye doctor...until i moved from westchester to the city..i ran out of contacts and went to this place because new legislation requires an annual eye exam in order to get contacts and i was desperate. however, i was SO pleasantly surprised. the doctor i saw was AWESOME. so professional, yet personable..and i was impressed by the fact that he didn't raise my perscription which i often find eye doctors do unnecessarily. he was knowledgeable, patient, and very cute...my only complaint about my experience is that he didn't ask to see me again!
good quality frames nice price

The frames were top designer frames and the price was about average but when you add in the free pair and the free eye exam it came out costing much less than Lenscrafters who want 150 dollars just for an eye exam.
- Pros: good designer frame selection, good price
- Cons: none
