Had a very bad experience with Nemo. They sold me tile that was of different dye lots, and while they tried to deliver new tile to replace the tile with the wrong dye lot, the sales reps were unempowered, and denied that the tile was defective. They acted as if I was just complaining. When the new tile was delivered, my contractor had to sort through all the tile to see if any of it matched the tile on the wall, and we discovered it was still from the wrong dye lot. Since they had run out of stock, I had to rip down all the tile installed and start over. The whole ordeal lasted five days, which means there were five days of labor costs required to sort through the tiles, and then do the demolition. I am still in dispute but Nemo sales reps have refused to cover more than the cost of the tile.

Nemo Tiles in Jamaica, Queens is a great location. The Customer Svce is extrememly helpful and their tiles are worth the price. They have a great variety and are not that expensive.

Pros: Customer Service

Cons: Parking

I ordered tile from Nemo and had it shipped UPS. The tile was damaged during shipment and Nemo told me to bring it back to them and they would replace it. After months passed, and still no replacement tile, Nemo then told me it is UPS' responsibility and I need to file for damaged goods with them. However, Nemo threw away the broken tile that UPS needs to inspect to verify the damaged goods. I purchased a lot of tile with Nemo and they have basically stiffed me the one box. I am out the money and the tile because of Nemo. Stay away from these people if you can help it. When we were buying the tile they were our best friends, after they got our money we were treated as if we have the plague!
