Nightclub review....

I have been to many different places in the city, this was fun, but did not carry the upscale and VIP feel that you should get when you spend the kind I of this place charges. A quick look around the room and you see the most ordinary crowd, you listen to the most common music and the service is nothing to talk about. Although I had a great time here, It wasn't the worth empting my wallet. I would go back only if I didn't have to pay the cover and had someone to buy my drinks....

Great experience

I was at Metronome for dinner with friends. we had the best time. The food was really really good. Filet mignon was better then any steakhouse you can go to. i will definetly go back.

World-class jazz and a creative menu bring a spark to one of the Flatiron's best-looking restaurants.

The Scene
This design of this appealing jazz club/restaurant offers an art deco-influenced mix of wood, metal, and mirrors with handpainted murals on the ceiling and sateen drapes wrapped around enormous pillars. Wednesday through Saturday, both established names and up-and-coming jazz acts play three-set shows.

The Food
The menu shows off an appealing mix of Italian and Mediterranean influences, with standout dishes like herb-crusted lamb with sundried tomato, arugula, and pine nuts, pappardelle pasta with sea scallops, and pork loin with apples, currants and a parsnip puree.

Very accomodating

We had a large group visiting (26 people) and Metronome was able to accomodate their request last minute. They even printed up menus the day the of the dinner with the name of the school visiting on it. Also, great ambience and food to go along with it. Service was really good at times and just a tad slow at other times, but I think since there was another large group there it made it a little tough for them. Overall, great for groups or just to chill in the lounge area is also a plus!

• Cons: a little cramped

More Than Just a Pretty Place

This was my first visit to Metronome, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had!  The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding (I highly suggest the filet mignon and pinchos of vegetables), and they even had live jazz for entertainment.  This place ROCKS!

nightlife

I attended the nightclub last Saturday night - I went out planning on an early evening - but wound up at an all night affair. The club was loaded with great looking people partying and dancing (dj was mixing great music) and enjoying fabulous mixed drinks. The club was large and spacious with great ambiance. The vibe was all there and everyone was enjoying it!

Girls Night Out!

We had the BEST time!!!! We (the Girls) went for nightclub last weekend, and the music was awesome, the drinks were great, and the crowd rocked! I would highly recommend this very cool club for Girls Night Out!! Even the food was fabulous!

Holiday Fun

We recently had our office holiday party at Metronome and had the time of our lives. The decor is beautiful and tastefully done. The food...DELICIOUS!!! They had martini bar made out of ice which was a big hit with everyone. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the bartenders all the way to coat check.

If I ever need a place to host a party, Metronome will be my first choice.

I (along with other employees) hope that our company has our holiday party next year at Metronome.

caviar wishes

i attended our office party last night. we had the best time. the food was outstanding. the scallops with caviar, the goat cheese wraps, sesame crusted salmon and rice and chocolate heaven for dessert. i'm a chocoholic...were so yummy. metronome was serving a holiday martini which had champagne. the music was excellent. i would highly recommend going there. the staff is really nice and helpful.

• Pros: big space, good service, excellent food
