I wanted to post this so that others searching for a florist will have help making an informed decision. I work in the design and event field so therefore have a lot of experience with florists. Sadly, I found Belle Fleur to fall well short of what you would expect for a florist of their purported 'caliber.' When I initially called for my own wedding, I did not mention that I was in this field to see how I would be treated. Not only was I treated rudely and abruptly after mentioning my budget (which, to note, is far from low or even mid-range) but my impression after that call was that, with Belle Fleur, you are over-paying for a reputation, rather than creative floral design or good service (which, let's be honest, is very important when you are planning a special event). A call or two to other florists will likely save you significant money - you will also feel like your business is actually wanted and you won't receive the attitude of a vendor who feels entitled. Unfortunately, I found Belle Fleur highly condescending, disinterested and overall abrasive in attitude with their clients.

Pros: making my decision to use another florist so much easier

Cons: bad service, overpriced, negative attitude with potential clients

I used to work in beauty and fashion public relations and we used belle fleur for every event. They have a wide selection of flowers and arrangements and will accomodate to any of your requests. The staff is very nice and helps to work around your busy schedule especially if you are planning an event. However, there prices are pretty high just like any high end floral boutique, but it is definiately worth it to spend the extra money!!

Pros: Beautiful arrangements

Cons: Pricey

I work in fashion and I have hired Belle Fleur for countless events and social engagements. Their team is not just talented, but they are kind and completely committed to ensuring that their clients are satisfied. They have such a wonderful sense of color and design, incorporating the most beautiful flowers and styling them to perfection. They are my absolute favorite to work with & I trust their taste implicitly.

I threw a party for my husband and I was completely overwhelmed with beauty of the flowers. Every guest (including my Mother-in-law) commented on how gorgeous the room looked. I've used Belle Fleur for many occasions and have always been more than pleased, but they went above and beyond for this event. I highly recommend Belle Fleur...ask for Meredith, she's great to work with!!

Cons: They only work in Manhattan

Belle Fleur has gorgeous flowers and a good knowledge of the business. While their staff is very professional and courteous, I was disappointed with their prices. After having made it very clear to one of the managers what my budget was for my wedding, I received a preliminary quote much over my budget. Needless to say, I found another florist. If you, unlike me, don’t have a budget for flowers, then you should definitely use this company. They truly do have beautiful arrangements. Just be ready to pay!

I know this business has lots of great reviews and is pretty well known in the city but they really aren't that great , I recently purchased a few arrangements from them and was extrememly disappointed in the flowers, the cooperation from the staff and the price. Basically they charge way too much for floral arrangements that aren't very fresh or nice. Will not be using them again

I know I'm not the easiest type to please, but I must admit that the flowers were my absolute favorite part of planning my wedding. This Mom & Daughter team at Belle Fleur couldn't be more gracious & lovely; their designs were amazing...every last detail was well thought through and left a lasting impression on all my family and friends. I know that Belle Fleur is no longer the best kept secret in Nyc...but it's no wonder why.

Been a big fan of their work, everyone at my company uses them and they always deliver (no pun intended) fabulous arrangements. Last week a collegue (it was her birthday) had on her desk a beautifully designed box, very elegant, with an aqua crocodile skin print and gorgeous silk ribbon. Being the curious fellow that I am, I had to find out what was inside. When I opened the box, the room filled with the most divine scent. It was stunning. I looked at the box and guess what it said..."Belle Fleur." I found out that they had just opened an online boutique. I bought all 4 fragrances immediately, don't recall the names of all of them, but my favorite is Orange Blossom Pomegranate. They smell wonderful even without burning them. if I can keep from burning them all, they will make great gifts. I hope they plan on rolling out other poducts, because their taste and attention to detail is superb. Belle Fleur, you won me over!

I recently celebrated my wedding and the one aspect that stands out from the rest were the flowers. The talented team at Belle Fleur created the most exquisite florals...every last detail was executed with perfection. On top of all the goregeous design work, they were kind and helpful. I highly recommend Belle Fleur.

I used Belle Fleur as the florist for my wedding last year. After searching around and visting with literally every florist in NYC, I found Belle Fleur to be the best. From the moment I met with the mother-daughter team I was impressed. It was great to have them bounce ideas off each other. They were professional, courteous and had great ideas. They were also very attentive to a concerned bride. On the day of my wedding, I was breathless when I had seen how beautifully they had decorated the castle I got married. In addition, I knew they did a great job with my flowers when my guests kept coming up to me during the wedding and saying "these are the prettiest, freshiest flowers I have ever seen - who was your florist?" They did an AMAZING job and I would recommend them again and again.

Pros: Fresh Flowers, Great Arrangements, Unique Ideas
