Male Waxing- LOVED this place

I am a new male to New York, so definitely not a veteran waxer and was extremely nervous when I came in for my first ever hair removal procedure at Dyanna Spa. It's probably not common for men to do waxing, but the staff was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the whole procedure. I am a swimmer, so had to do a whole body wax and was prepared for the worst but was pleasantly surprised when the experience was quick, painless, thorough and extremely sterile.

The girl doing it explained to me Dyanna Spa's no double dipping policy, her technique was clearly one of a pro. She was friendly and I knew pretty quickly I was in good hands.

The staff was nice, the prices are great, the waxes are thorough and minimally painful, and the location in Gramercy park in Manhattan NYC is great!

I would highly recommend the waxes at Dyanna Spa to both men and women alike.

This is the best nail salon that I've been to!

Walked in, requested and received an appointment for a last-minute, same day manicure and pedicure - on a SATURDAY. Not a bad start. Irine was very friendly, my nails and toes look great, the price ($35) was right, and it's in the neighborhood. Can't ask for much more, I'll be back. One thing to note: tips cannot be added to a credit card payment - must be cash or check. This is actually better for the technicians, but caught me off guard. If you typically pay via credit card, bring cash for the tip!

I'm definitely going back.

Pure Professionalism

Its hard to find a quint place such as this. Located in the heart of a beautiful neighborhood, it is one of the best salons in there. The staff are amazing and always with a kind face. The services are to die for and never an issue. Should you want great service for a good buck then this is the spot.

BARBARA FOR BRAZILIAN BIKINI'S

Went to Barbara for a Brazilian Bikini the other day and thought she was wonderful. She worked well and was very meticulous. I would without a doubt refer her to others.

Don't Bother

I've never had a Brazilian wax done before but I know that she didn't do a very good job. I was left with small patches of hair that weren't tweezed. Also, I have a burn from the wax and have already started to see irritation from the "hypoallergenic" wax. I won't be going back.

Great Place!

I came to this salon for the first time to get a bikini wax. The lady at the front desk, who was very nice, recommended me to try to get a Brazilian bikini wax which I had always been too scared to do. I got Elena who took great care of me and talked me through the wax. There was no double dipping which made me very comfortable and happy. Now I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to get his back wax since this place does man waxing. Either way, I am very satisfied with the environment, the prices, and the professionalism.

I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS SALON ALONG WITH BARBARA IN PARTICULAR TO MANY PEOPLE. AS A FACIALIST SHE HAS A VERY LIGHT TOUCH AND ALL THAT HAVE SENSITVE SKIN SHOULD GO TO HER, THEY WILL NOT REGRET IT. AS FOR THE WAX ON THE LEG IF SHE DIDN’T SEE IT THEN SHE COULDN’T HAVE CLEANED IT UP. SOMETIMES IT PAYS NOT TO BE A QUIET WALLFLOWER.

waxing

The reception was very nice when I got there with my friend. We booked for Brazilian wax. I had Barbara. I saw some good reviews about her from here and I thought it would be great to get her. The whole thing was really fast less than 5 min for the wax which was ok. During the waxing I felt the wax dripped on my leg and I thought she wiped it off from me and when I got home I saw the mess all over my leg and some hair still there. It was disgusting. Also, when she put the wax on it was so HOT! I never been to a place that place VERY HOT wax on me like that. I don't think I will feel comfortable going back and I felt embarrass I took my friend there. Will not go again.

Mani and Pedi to die for!

I brought all of my girlfriends to this salon about two years ago for my birthday, and being the skeptic that I am, I was not too sure if I would like it. The woman doing my nails was Elena, who is like a sister to me at this point. Everything went very smoothly and not only did I walk away with a great mani and pedi but I find myself coming back just to talk to Elena and spend time with her. Honestly, this salon is just a bundle of surprises; with Elena and her skills, you really can't go wrong!

I was in a rush the other day and needed to get my legs and eyebrows done. I walked past Dyanna and decided to go inside, thinking I could get this done quickly and go about my day. I was a walk-in and got Elena, this little blonde woman with such a relaxing energy. She made it so painless and before I noticed everything was over! Ever since then, I have come to her and now I am a regular of hers. I recommend her to anyone, regulars or walk-ins. She left me completely hairless while allowing me to be very comfortable.
