I was absolutely terrified about learning to drive in New York City. My teacher, Jerry, was patient, encouraging and clear in his instructions. The office staff could not have been nicer or more efficient. With Jerry's help, I got my driver's license in ONE MONTH.

I Passed the road test yesterday!! This is a great school!! The staff is very professional and attentive!! I would highly recommend Leo as a driving instructor. The first lesson I had with him, I felt so confident behind the wheel!! I took lessons at another school years ago and quite honestly I can say it was a waste of my time. I am so happy that I found Professional!! Leo's teaching skills are great!! If you are looking to start classes at this school- I would highly recommend Leo without question. Great School!!

I PASSED MY ROAD TEST TODAY !!!!! Glory to God and great thanks to Leo my instructor. My driving lessons have always had long interval of time in between over the years but i made up my mind in may 2008 that i was gonna do this once and for all. So after extensive internet search, my inner person kept recommending this school. I booked the 5-Hr lessons package with them and before i started, I occasionally took single lessons( whenever i feel like driving) with another school closer to me ( i stay in the bronx). I started my package lessons last week and immediately i saw the difference in method of teaching. Leo was just exceptional. while at the other school,the instructor was quick to step on the brake for no reason. Leo kept building my confidence and was quick to pull my foot off the brake when i start using it out of timidity. He never yelled, was always courteous and very quick to give praise when i made a good move which really helped me.His teaching on parallel parking made it seem like a piece of cake. I remember calling my friend to compliment Leo on his manner of teaching. When we got to the road test area and drove around couple of times to warm up, after few drills he said "I think you are ready let's go". I remember saying " are you sure?" and he answered " YES". I realised that if i failed my test then it will not be his fault cos he had taught me everything i needed to pass.Sometimes out of anxiety we make mistakes during the test and then blame it on our instructor. The car was superb ( i felt more at home with it). Office space is nothing to complain about since lessons take place on the road, after all it is an old building in NYC. Thanks to all staff of the school. Anyone looking for an exceptional driving school? this is the place to go!!

My experience with this company had a lot to do with which instructor I worked with. I had taken a couple lessons with Ray and he's great. I know how to drive but just needed a boost in self confidence since I haven't driven for years since I moved to New York City. We worked on merging into the highway, changing lanes etc and his positive reinforcements really helped my confidence on the road. Unfortunately, Ray wasn't always available and I had to work with a different instructor who was moody and impatient. I believe that he teaches the correct fundamentals of driving and he's generally a good teacher but his "bedside manners" were pretty bad! It felt like I was working with a disgruntled employee who didn't really want to be there. It felt like I was taking driving lessons again as a teenager from a family member who yelled at me everytime I made a mistake. Needless to say, I got jittery and more nervous than my previous lessons and believe that I made more mistakes than usual. That experience defeated the purpose of getting reacquianted with driving in the first place. So...yes I would still probably recommend the company to other people but I would recommend Ray as their instructor

I straightforwardly passed the road test today after taking 5 lessons with them. With some experience in the past, the cool but smart and proficient Berchel not only helped me polish my knowledge in driving but effectively prepped me up for the road test. His techniques were unanticipated which at the end surprised me and my wife how well I drive now. As one of the satisfied customers of this driving school, I recommend them to everyone who wants to get a license as straightforwardly as I did. By the way, office staff are professional and courteous which add pleasantry to my entire experience with them. This is one place in New York that one should not miss when it comes to obtaining a driver's license.

I got my driving license with the 'Professional driving school' and it was great. My instructor was Leo and he is superb. I did 15 lessons and felt really confident for the exam. I would recommend everyone that is thinking to get their license to go here, cause they were exceptional.

After seeing this school in CW11 Morning News one day, I chose them early this year when I needed to get my license for a job. My experience with them was remarkably good, from the time I started until I got my license. Office staff are professional and courteous.That's number one. Number two and the most important is, my driving instructor was exceptionally systematic and effective. He made things easy for me, and it was indeed easy for me to pass the road test. I now have the license and I recommend Professional Driving School to everyone. An EXCELLENT experience, absolutely!

I am older and wanted to make sure I did everything I could to get a license and feel comfortable on the road, driving in and out of New York City. I think this school is excellent for many reasons. They are all kind and professional when you sign up. You are assigned a driver for your lessons. The Driver I had Jerry did and excellent job of teaching me good driving behavior I can now rely on when I am on the road. Things that I am sure just from driving in Manhattan most seasoned drivers don't even bother with, like really making sure you check that blind spot when pulling out or turning and remembering to turn that blinker on when your pulling out, changing lanes and so on. Making that three point turn or parallel parking is a breeze. And let me tell you I have sat with my friend as she parks her car in the city whose driven for twenty years and she can't parallel park well at all - and she's a seasoned driver. Jerry taught me a safe and secure habit in parallel parking that I will take with me to the grave! You will learn excellent safe and proper driving habits that I can promise you will not see when you drive in New York along side the seasoned drivers; as they cut one another off, sway and swerve like monkeys with car keys. I know I have the tools to become a good driver because of the one on one training from this school. I know that when I took my driving test I ACED IT with no point deductions because of the excellent training and personal care. I also like the fact I did not arrive to take my test in a car full of other students - instead with my instructor who was there for me that day to not only give me support but also last minute instruction and courage to do a great job taking my test. The true test of an excellent and safe driver is on the road and they give you all you need. I would recommend Jerry my instructor one thousand times over. THEY ARE EXCELLENT!!!!

I passed the road test last week with quite an impressive driving performance. I basically learned driving from an instructor who I would say was exceptionally clever. I signed with the 10-hour package deal and until now I'm still surprised how fast I learned driving from scratch. Jay was really a good instructor giving me lessons in such a way that everything is rather recreational and easy to digest. A real DISTINCTIVE style. I recommend this driving school to everyone who needs help in getting his license. It's more than worth your time and money. Thank you, Professional Driving School! Sure, I will enjoy my license and I will keep it clean.

My brother was extremely impressed with this driving school when he used them a coupla years ago. I went with them early this year as a beginner and, as promised, treated as a beginner where things are explained step-by-step without difficulty. I'm in college and my schedule is insane. I had my lessons done only on weekends towards my road test. Was my instructor good? Damn.....YES! I can't believe how he made things so easy for me - no anxiety, no awkwardness, no worries, despite my sometimes being unattentive and kinda half-hearted driving on a weekend when my mind isn't very tuned to it... but sleeping. He made things really blazing. I feel I always learn something new every after the lesson. Needless to say, I passed the road test. TO THE PROFESSIONAL DRIVING SCHOOL, THANK YOU! YOU'RE TRUE TO YOUR NAME....THE PROS!
