great place and reasonable pricing
by krisalee
My puppy loves this place! She doesn't even say goodbye to me when I take here there lol.
Very reasonable for a Manhattan doggy daycare, the care takers are nice and the dogs are happy - totally recommend it!
Your dog is well taken care of over here.

Excellent options for people that are out and about often and need a reliable place to care and entertain your pets. I often do day trips in and out if the city, and asking neighbors has become a hastle, so i decided to try something new. I am so glad I did. You should see the place. He has it better than me! Now I've always got a guilt free and stress free option when I need to be out and about. Highly recommended!
Great place- best hours

Great place for your puppy. I especially like there hours on weekends - gives me the opportunity to go play golf all day and not feel guilty because my dog is having fun and well taken care of while I am away.
Best of the best for housing your dog.

I am on the road alot during the week and always need someone to take care of my dog. Have used other places, but New York Dog Spa is the best. They have so many ways to make your dog feel like home. I always miss him when I leave him, but he never seems like he minds to much when we get there, he always runs to the trainer tail a wagging. Thanks so much for being there for me.
Excellent Doggy Daycare in Flatiron District
by duchesslauren
Took my dog Hank here for the first time on Wednesday. The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Hank had a great day and I could tell he was well looked after. He came home exhausted from all the playing he did! The location is convenient, it's a great facility and is very well maintained. As a bonus, they have a well-edited retail shop in the front. I brought Hank back yesterday and again this morning, and both days he pulled me right into the front door, eager to play with his new friends!
Clean, Friendly, & Great Hours

NY Dog Spa is one of the few places in the area that takes large dogs, and they have room to play! The staff is friendly and very attentive and the place is spotless. They can accommodate your plans even at the last minute. The prices are comparable and I feel great about leaving my dog there overnight or just to play for the day. I highly recommend it!
the only one for my little girl
by darthvito
Jorge was the only other person besides myself and my partner, that could be trusted to care for our beloved Schnauzer Sacha. After a terrible spine injury , Sacha need special attention at the groomers, Jorge was not
only loving and kind to her, but he also made her look like an angle. Sacha went to heaven this past winter.
Now Jorge gives the same love and attention to our new little girl Sophie. there was no question what so ever as to who would be her groomer. He is simply the best there is.
- Pros: Jorge, Jorge , Jorge ....!
- Cons: none.
Jorge to the rescue in a very STICKY situation!
by bellabklyn
On a hot summer day, a very beloved scotty managed to get gum balled-up under his paw and between his pads. Of course the gum attracted all sorts of stones and pieces of stick and god only knows what else from the street, with the result that the scotty was limping around.
Luckily, Jorge was able to tend to this scotty the very day I called, and Jorge removed all of the gum and clean him up thoroughly and beautiflly so that he was able to swagger out of the dog spa in style! Thank you so much Jorge! --- the dogsitter
- Pros: Prompt, very helpful & friendly
Great Place and Grooming
by Hardkandy
I have been looking for a groomer for my two Bichons after moving to Manhattan from Europe. I have had many many bad experiences with groomers before, both in the US and Europe. I made an appointment and talk to the groomer beforehand on the phone. She was great ! I told her exactly what I wanted and she listened to me and explained me how she did her grooming. She made a really good impression on the phone and decided to keep my apt and brought my dog there, where I met her in person. She was also amazing. She worked with me and asked me a lot of questions to make sure she understood what i wanted. She did not look annoyed or offended. She did a really good Panda cut on my Bichon and the dog was really happy and not stressed in the least. She cleaned the ears, did the hygienic cut on the belly and also trimmed the hair on the bottom surface of the paws. I was really really pleased and I am definitively going to bring both of my dogs there. In addition, the staff was really kind. They were not annoyed by questions and really helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially if you have a Bichon or a dog that needs a special cut.
- Pros: Great grooming and service
- Cons: none !
A good place to board your dog.
by lukejp
I was referred to NY Dog Spa by my veterinarian. The first time I was very very nervous. I had never left my dog anywhere before. The place is clean and really does not smell like dogs at all. All the dogs seem well treated. I have since boarded my dog over 10 times and each time he was happy to be there. One time he was on medication and I actually counted the pills before and after they stay and there were the correct number.
- Pros: Smells Great, Dogs seem happy
- Cons: Manhattan prices
