Best food & Excellent service

The quality of cola,s food is good and knowledgeable worker made our dinner best.The special pasta lamb ragu and linguini with shrimp was owesome. I was waiting for long time to have that kind of dinner. I recommend all of you to go colas and enjoy their food

Try This Place

I've been twice and both times they sat us right on time. The service is terrific and the entres and yummy. Try the antipasto della casa for appetizers. Entrees are large and the portions (salmone, chicken, ) yummy. Desserts are pretty good but I wouldn't rave about them. Try this place. It's tops!

Worst restaurant in NY

I didn't like this place at all. The restaurant is dirty everywhere. The servers were not enough so we took a while to get our orders. Our meal was cold by the time we got it. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay 20% gratuity. Sorry, I do not recommend this place.

cozy and cute, ez first date place

Nice and attentive servers. I think they actually eat there as well...they were able to make recommendations with confidence.

• Pros: Cozy and inexpensive, great servers
• Cons: Fish was just ok and the oil and basalmic vinegar containers were slippery

BEST SERVICE

GREAT SERVICE

I have been a regular at COLAS since it's opening. The food is consistently great and have always really enjoyed eating there. Sevice has always been average but the food has always made up for it until recently. The past few times that we have had dinner our waiter (forgot to get his name/ Bangladeshi guy ) has made our dining experience all the better. He's very knowledgable and eager to give his opinion about the food,wines and beer. Always pleasant and in a short time remembered us by name. It's a personal touch that is really appreciated . You can tell that this is someone who cares about the customers .I now can add not just great food but GREAT SERVICE as well.

Best itallina food,good service

I have been dinning so many restaurants in my life, one day i was stop at the restaurant by the name cola's. When we enter the restaurant it was almost empty, so got a table near by the window. I have ordered cremini mushrooms as a appetizer,and my entree was the special of the day seafood risotto,which was cooked with prawns,calamari, and clams. the best food i have ever had in this small restaurant. The desert was real key lime pie which was also excellent.Above all the service was excellent and the music was perfect. So i recommend people to visit this restaurant.

BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN TOWN

I haved lived in Italy more than 10 years, and have been dining so many places in Italy. I found this tiny restaurent was doing quite well more than 20 years. The food was excellent, such as our appetizer was Buffallo cheese which imported from italy and fresh grilled sardines was excellent.Our main dish which waiter brought excellent classical dish pappardelle rabbit ragu, and chicken cacciatore which chef was cooked exactly the way i was craving for many many years. finally i do not know how do explain cola's tiramusu and cheese cake was perfect. The service we were getting like two star restaurents. I really recommend people to visit the tiny restaurent.

WHAT A FIND!

My friend told me about this place and I knew I had to try it for myself. I went last night and the food was amazing. We started with the fried calamari and a salad of arugula and fresh fennel. The calamari were light and so tender! they were fried to perfection, And the salad tasted so fresh. Then I had the Lingunini with seafood and my BF had the Angel hair with salmon. Wow! Let me just tell you- we were pleased. The pasta was cooked al dente and the seafood was fresh and delicious. The sauces were light and very good. For these prices- you couldn't ask for a better dinner. During dinner we enjoyed some great wine. They offer so many by the glass that we got to taste a few. And we finished with a smooth chocolate mousse made with verona chocolate and some real espresso! The service troughout themeal was spot on and very friendly without being condesending. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood or even coming from uptown- it it worth the trip.

Disappointing. Avoid.

I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years. Never has a gratuity been added to the bill. Tonite, I brought guests from out of town for whom english is a second language. Surprise. Surpise. Gratuity was added to the bill...coincidence? Think not.

Food at one time great...has declined in past year. Avoid.
