My wife and I went for our anniversary again this year after we first dined here 2 years ago for our anniversary. In a word it's fantastic, food, service, ambience, everything. We tried the Pasta Tasting menu with flight of wine to accompany, Pappardelle Bolognese paired with a Barbera d’Alba is to die for the boar meat used is succulent, Baccala Mezzaluna was heavenly and Braised Beef Pyramids were hearty and bursting with flavor. It's 5 very tasty and plentiful portions of pasta plus 3 desserts and if you choose the wine pairings 8 varied and equally pleasing selections, each of which either the Sommelier or your server will explain to you and how it pairs with the dish. The service staff is attentive, inobtrusive, very knowledgeable about the menu and all the wines on their list and extremely friendly and entertaining. If there are any drawbacks at all, it can take months to get a reservation, which in itself tells you how good it is, and it's a bit tight, not terribly intimate. But you don't go there for a romantic evening with your partner you go to be romanced by the amazing cuisine and service.
