Beautiful Florals, Wonderful Staff!

We worked with Thomas to design the flowers for our June wedding. He was wonderful, not only because of his great taste in design, but also because he actually listened to what I wanted in a floral arrangement and then created exactly that! I got so many compliments on my bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the centerpieces, and even the tablecloths (which Thomas selected). We couldn't have been happier with the way our decor turned out!

Another plus is the fact that everyone in this shop was kind and accommodating from day one. And even though wedding planning can be stressful, Thomas is a very calming influence - exactly who you want around on your wedding day.

If I were planning another event, Prudence is the first place I would go. (Thanks, Thomas & Prudence!)

Absolutey The Best

I was introduced to Prudence through my wedding planner and from the first meeting I knew that this was the place. The staff is so wonderfully friendly and so amazingly talented! Prudence designed all of the florals for my wedding after a quick meeting with the team at prudence they were able to put together a sample of one of the floral designs and they absolutley nailed it! So tasteful and beautifully done it really was everything I could and couldn't even imagine. Highly recommend this place!

Beyond our expectations!

We had our wedding this past weeked at Tribeca Rooftop, and Thomas designed the decor. Prudence truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Thomas was great fun to work with, reliable, and had great ideas. Everyone repeatedly commented on how elegant and chic the space looked. I cannot recommend Prudence highly enough and will use them again in the future. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous arrangements!

We worked with Thomas for my daugher's NYC wedding and his style and choice of flowers and color arrangements for the season was extraordinary! Prudence worked with in our budget and a trip to the flower market was a special treat which really allowed us to customize our arrangements/decor. We would happily use them again!

Everything you're looking for

I worked with Thomas for my wedding, and he did a magnificent job! The flowers were OUTRAGEOUSLY gorgeous! I can?t say enough about how obsessed my mom and I were with the job he did. It was beyond beautiful. And of course all the guests were extremely impressed. First of all, my bouquet was the most amazing thing ever, and looked so perfect with my dress. His ability to know what will work for your particular event becomes obvious when you see the final outcome. So as a wedding veteran, let me say: do yourself a favor and trust in him! Stress about other stuff; don't stress about this. He listens to what you want and then makes it truly fabulous. When we got to the event site, I was overwhelmed by how sensational the room looked. The colors, the combinations--just beyond expectations, more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am forever grateful to have found Prudence Designs, and will definitely use them for all my future floral needs.

Extraordinary customer service and floral vision!!

As the mother of the bride, I would like to highly recommend Prudence Designs for extraordinary customer service, high quality floral arrangements, and design concepts. From the church to the cocktail hour to the reception, the ambiance captured the emotion and personality of the bride and groom. With so many decisions to make for the wedding, Thomas O'Laughlin of Prudence Designs facilitated the plans with little direction and achieved the most memorable wedding for my daughter. The Prudence design team created the breathtaking atmosphere that family and guests are still raving about!!

Sophistication and Style Always....Prudence Designs has redefined what it means to be a florist....

Prudence Designs & Events not only provided the flowers and linens for our wedding, they made the wedding. I was not only impressed with the diversity and freshness of the flowers, Prudence Designs helped us create a vision that represented who we are while creating a completely individual wedding ambiance. This vision surpassed any other wedding that I have ever attended, and I am constantly hearing about the floral design each time I see one of the wedding guests. I will never forget how it felt to walk into Kleinhans Music Hall (our reception location), I felt as if I was walking into the most lovely dream. Planning for a wedding is often stressful; however, working with the professionals of Prudence Designs was always enjoyable and easy. I am thankful for the amazing work that they have done for me, and I extend my highest recommendation to anyone planning a wedding in NYC or elsewhere. They have impeccable taste, professionalism, and above all...style!

Prudence pleases with a plethora of petals

UPDATE: Just to be current I revisited my review from a couple of years ago and find my opinion to be unchanged...except perhaps for Arturo's and Grayson's mastery of flower power which is ever increasing. With a consistency that is awe inspiring, they out do even themselves...still.

OLD REVIEW: O.k., the greatest compliment I can give is that I live in Los Angeles and I still use the floral talents of Prudence. If there is anything I can count on these days of ineptitude and compromise, is the skill, the artistry and excellence of Arturo's designs and Grayson's sense of what's needed. If I need a special floral arrangement, I call them and I suggest whoever is reading this do so too. And I may as well take this time to thank Arturo and Grayson for being there when some blossoms will cheer.

great staff, consumer friendly (they do everything), GORGEOUS flowers!

i just had some sent to a funeral parlor. it was noticeably the most beautiful arrangement there. i use prudence for every occassion and am always thrilled. they use fresh, seasonal flower with their own creative touch....absolutely gorgeous. you will not be disappointed.

Best flowers ever

Walking into Prudence Flowers and Design boutique is a fabulous experience foy your eyes, your nose and

and your spirit.

Grayson and Arturo have a special taste for flowers and design, I find it very elegant and vaguely old Europe.

It's something unique in town.
